Strappy Shoes and Blush Tops

Remember the 3 recent posts on building a spring wardrobe?  The ones about staples for tops HERE, fun tops to add HERE, and staples for bottoms HERE.  This outfit is that formula in action.  The jeans and utility jacket are in my staples lists, while a blush top is one of the fun/trendy pieces.  Just pick a staple from each of the staples lists, add one or two fun or trendy items (in this case, the blush top and statement shoes) and you’ll have easy, fresh outfits all spring!
We’ll talk later this week about spring shoes, but I’m loving ones with prominent straps this spring.  I like how they elevate even the most simple or casual outfits, like this one.  Plus, they’re just darn cute!  These are a Target knockoff of some expensive Jeffery Campbell ones (THESE).  Unfortunately I can’t find these Target ones online, and they were nearly sold out in store when I bought them about a month ago.  However, if you want to try your luck at Target, these are called Phobe.  They are very cute, but the upper is stiff, so make the laces very loose so that the shoes have more give.
Stay tuned later this week for more talk on shoes!  For now, here are a bunch of cute blush blouses:
