It’s time for another round of reviews! I tried a few pieces from Amazon, Nordstrom Rack, and Etsy that I thought you might be interested in!
SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
Amazon Goodthreads Floral Print Top – size S
Super lightweight top. Really cute with a great shape that nips in at the waist and flares out to help offer you some shape. But the material feels flowy and not stiff. One note is that while I don’t think this material is technically woven, it has that kind of feel in the sense that it’s the kind of material that I sometimes worry will get snagged. Also, I thought it would shrink in the wash, but it didn’t. If it does shrink, you should easily be able to fix that by using a steamer, which will un-shrink it. (I do this for most garments that shrink.) For sizing, I’m trying size S, and it is like, just the perfect fit. I tried it in size M, and it looked a little baggy. I would say size up if you’re unsure or between sizes. Comes in solid black and three prints, HERE.

Amazon Goodthreads Faux Wrap Dress – size S
This dress is the same material as the top above, so it is very lightweight. However, it is fairly thin, so if you are looking for something to conceal bumps, this may not do the trick. The shape is really cute, though! The top is a scoop neck tank, and the bottom half is a faux wrap with a tied waist. You can’t see it well in pictures, but the faux wrap at the bottom actually gives the skirt some movement and curves. This length is not my favorite as it hits right at the widest part of my calves, but I have to admit that this length makes dresses look more elegant! Good for warmer falls, and very cute with a denim jacket. It comes in 4 prints and 2 solid colors, HERE. I wear size S.

Amazon Crewneck Pullover Sweater – size M
This thing has 9,000+ ratings and 4.5 stars! Honestly, I don’t think it’s my favorite sweater, personally. But, it has some great qualities that you might love depending on your body shape, style, and what you’re looking for. This sweater is thin and lightweight, so it’s better for warmer falls. This color is somewhat see through, though. I doubt it would be see-through in darker colors. It’s also quite long, which might be great for some of you. But that’s one of the things that’s not great for me personally, since I have a shorter torso. I actually really like how it feels around the arms and bust. It’s comfortable and decently relaxed without looking too slouchy. But what kills me is that I need to tuck it since it’s long on me, and I personally don’t love how it tucks. I think the combo of the ribbed hem and how long it is on me just makes it bunchy around the sides when tucked in the front, instead of falling fluidly like I prefer. The bunching isn’t terrible, and unfortunately I couldn’t capture it that well in the picture above, but it’s just not my favorite. However, I think this sweater could be great if you have a longer torso and you prefer a more classic style. Also, it comes in 50 colors and prints, HERE! FIFTY!!!! WHAT THE HECK! I wear size S.

Amazon Short Sleeve Sweater – size M
I seriously can’t get enough of this rust color this season! I keep buying variations of tops in this color, and as dumb as it seems, they actually all have a place. 😆 I have a long sleeve top, thick cozy sweater, and t-shirt, which are all different weights for different temps. And now a short sleeve sweater, which I’ve been digging in general lately for our not-quite-hot but not-quite-cold mornings.
Anyway, this sweater is cute! It’s quite long, but it works well in a front-tuck. The knit is a little open, but it’s not wildly see-through—at least not in this color. It’s a medium thickness with a decent drape. It’s not a super high quality, luxurious feeling type of sweater. But, it’s super affordable, looks cute, and drapes well! Comes in 7 colors, HERE. I wear size M. I’m wearing the color “A Red” which looks more muted on the product site. The color is truer to my pics.

Etsy Thankful Tee – size S
Do you remember my yellow leopard print tee? (You can find it HERE.) This is from the same seller. I had a brain fart and accidentally bought the wrong size, so I contacted the shop to ask for an exchange. The owner, Amy, recognized my name from having seen me show that yellow leopard print tee, so she not only sent me the size I needed but also offered to gift me a few items of my choice. I’ll share all of them below.
I went back to this shop because the yellow leopard print tee is soooo soft! I got this “thankful” tee in the color Dust, which is a taupey oatmeal type of color. It goes with soooooo many different colors of my favorite brand of earrings, Nickel & Suede.
The tee is soft and stretchy, just like my yellow leopard print one. Because the tee is stretchy rather than drapey, I prefer to knot it rather than do a loose front tuck. You can size up for a slouchier fit, which will tuck better, but it is quite oversized and much longer in a size up, which can result in a lot of extra material in the back and around the sides even when tucked or knotted.
This is very, very comfy! It also comes in white and pinky peach in sizes XS to 2X. Check out all the colors HERE. I wear size S.

Etsy Be the Good In the World & Abstract Sun Graphic Tees – size S
Here are the other two tees I chose. Both of these are in White, which is much brighter than the Dust color. They are slightly see-through in the back, but in the front, the graphics cover everything.
I really like the Be the Good in the World graphic in white. The Abstract Sun tee is cute in white, too, buuuuuuut I THINK I might prefer the Heather Dust color instead for that print. Totally just a preference, of course! Still the same stretchy, soft tee!

Joyful Sweatshirt – size M
The other item I tried is this Joyful sweatshirt. I think I got used to shorter sweatshirts from Old Navy and Nordstrom, so this is a bit longer than I’d like it to be, and it feels a little bulkier than I anticipated. I think that’s due to both the drop shoulders and material. It’s 25.5″ long in size M. Example of a shorter Old Navy sweatshirt on the left:
I prefer the shorter cut of the sweatshirt on the left. However, by sizing up to M in the Joyful sweatshirt, I can get more of a loungey look that would work over leggings at home, which I showed up there in the first pic. (I have a shorter torso, so 25.5″ works for me, but check for yourself if that’d work for you!) The sweatshirt comes in three colors, which you can see HERE.

Z by Zella Replay Slim Fleece Joggers – size S
These joggers are from Z by Zella, which I’m assuming is their cheaper brand…? Anyway, they’re great! And only $29.97 with almost 500 reviews and 4.4 stars! You know I love the Zella joggers from Nordstrom, but they feel more sporty and less like cozy loungey sweatpants. These slim fleece joggers are the loungey sweatpants type. I really like them! It’s been warm where I live, but mornings have been chilly, so I got to wear them for 4 hours before needing to change to something cooler, and the knees did not get terribly baggy, which is great! They come in black and dark green, which you can see HERE. I went with size S because I really like my joggers to be fitted or else I find them terribly unflattering on me. 😆 Available in XXS to XXL.
Lou & Grey Sweatshirt – size S, would prefer size M
This is my first time trying a L&G sweatshirt, and I don’t know if they’re all like this, but this is possibly THE SOFTEST sweatshirt I have ever tried! I love the color and how sofffffttttt it is! Amazing for loungewear. But, size S was a tad too small for me, and M wasn’t available when I ordered. It’s nearly sold out, but you can try to snag your size HERE.

Ponte Crewneck Shirt – size S
Dang it, I forgot to take a picture of this! I returned this because I don’t need it, but I wanted to review it in case any of you would need it because it is so good! It’s super thick, but stretchy and comfy to wear, but it also holds its shape. And, it looks really professional and would be great for work! Got the best of both worlds! And only $22.97! Sizes are very limited, but see if you can get yours HERE.
Utility Jacket – size S, would want to try XS
First, let’s talk about what’s good. This jacket is VERY soft, flexible, and lightweight! It’s hard to find a utility jacket that feels comfy like this, and especially for under $50—and this one is just $34.97! It has elastic at the waistband to help nip it in and give you some shape. And it has pockets to hold #allthethings.
What I don’t love is the fit or the shape—I can’t tell what it is. (BTW, both fit AND shape are uber important in how clothes look on you, and yes, they are two different things. You can learn more about that in my free class 6 Common Style Mistakes + 3 Keys to Fix Them.) This jacket is very big in the chest for me, and even the sleeves are too large. I ordered two sizes like I always suggest to you, S and M, but I didn’t expect to need XS! I would have loved to try that to see if it’s the fit or the shape that’s off.
But, the jacket is soft and flexible, and like I said, it’s hard to find one like that under $50. So, if you are in the market for a utility jacket, I think it’s worth at least trying if you can get free shipping and are close enough to return to a store for free if it doesn’t work out… or simply don’t mind paying (what I believe is) the $6 return shipping. Just be sure to size way down for your best shot. The jacket also comes in gray. Find both colors HERE.
