Here’s the list we’re using for the PMT Fall 2018 Challenge!  You can adapt this to your style by ignoring the clothing images shown and just going with the text descriptions underneath.  But rust and camel, waffle button ups, mustard yellow, vertical stripes, and mules are trends I’m personally excited about this fall!

Ah, I just love seeing a capsule all lined up in a graphic like this. So visually satisfying. And so wardrobe satisfying too, when I realize how many of these items I own 🙂

I’ve been lurking for awhile and finally decided to give this a trial run with last year’s fall guide. The first week just simplified things so much! It really gave me insight into my closet. I have way more choices than I thought! I just didn’t know how to put it all together. Thanks and looking forward to guidance to come.

Hi Nancy! I don’t know off the top of my head. I created this for the PMT Challenge, and the goal of the challenge is actually to shop your closet first and use pieces you already own that fit these descriptions. You don’t have to use the same color or styles that I use, and the outfits will still work. It’s really flexible, and it’s not designed for someone to buy this entire exact capsule rather these are just examples.

Ah! Figures the ONE piece I was most excited about looks like it must be sold out – the rust colored sweater? Where did the original one in your graphic come from? The fit looks amazing. Thanks Audrey!!

Hi Kristen! It’s from H&M. It recently got restocked, like last week, and went out again. Might come back though.

Would this challenge fit for a business casual work environment?

Hi Nancy! Over half the women adapt it to make it business casual, but it does take a bit of work and interpretation. But if you need something more literal and exact then it’d be harder.

Hi Audrey. I was wondering if you have the rust top from Target and if so what size you wear?

Hi! I don’t have the rust sweater from Target, but I tried it on in store and I can’t remember what size! I think it was S or XS. I think it ran a little large, but honestly my memory is fuzzy! So sorry!

Nice picks for this fall. Audrey, I have a question – I don’t know how to wear booties (ankle boots) with slacks for the office. I love the look with skinny jeans, but that doesn’t work in the office. How do I wear them with straight leg or bootcut slacks? (And how do I cover my ankles when it gets cold, now that knee-high boots are no longer the height of fashion?) Thanks!
