OPTIONAL LAYERING PIECES:
Please see the blog post How I Stay Warm in the Winter for tips on how to be warmer in the outfits for this challenge. That post will also make better sense of the layering options below.
- CAMISOLES
Additional Info: These will keep your core warm.
- HEATTECH or Cuddl Duds Long Sleeve Layering Tees
Additional Info: HEATTECHS come in a variety of cuts. I wear scoop necks so that the neckline is lower and more easily hidden under tops. The sleeves are also slightly shorter than regular sleeves to stay hidden. I own black and nude and wear these in size M.
- STRIPED LONG SLEEVE TEE
Additional Info: This can serve as an additional layer under sweaters, and allowing it to peek out from the bottom or sleeves adds dimension and adds a cute surprise to outfits!
- SLIPS
Additional Info: Sometimes skirts and dresses cling to tights and leggings. Wearing a slip provides a smooth layer to prevent clinging.
- RAIN OR ALL WEATHER BOOTS FOR COMMUTING
Additional Info: Many women in snowy climates have said they wear weather-appropriate boots to commute, then change to flats or pumps in the office.
