Summer BBQ

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE summer BBQs.  Over here, BBQs usually = carne asada tacos.  Or Korean BBQ.  And even though I’m totally down with hotdogs and hamburgers, tacos and Korean BBQ makes summer BBQs all the better.  I wore this on Saturday while we ran errands, ate Mexican food for lunch, and then ate more Mexican food at a BBQ for friends who graduated from seminary and MFT programs.  Celebrating friends’ major accomplishments with tacos?  That’s the good life right there.
I felt a little dumb taking pictures indoors with a hat on, but finding a hat that works on my head–that miracle had to be documented, peoples.  This hat comes in two sizes, S/M and L/XL.  My head isn’t huge by any means, but often just *slightly* too big for hats.  In the case of this Old Navy hat, I actually ended up with a S/M, but it was only because one was a little bigger than all the other S/Ms on the shelf.  Thank you, inconsistent sizing!
(I really liked this striped floppy hat from Target too, and it worked on my head, but ultimately I wanted a plain hat before I got a striped one.)
