Last weekend I wore this to a friend’s backyard birthday party. While I was in Maui I wore these shorts with a navy v-neck tee, but for the birthday party I opted for a blouse with more detail to dress up the casual vibe slightly. Just slightly though! A solid top with a little bit of detailing can go a long way, and below are some more examples of tops like this. Even though the top is solid you can be light on the accessories since the top already has interesting details. I particularly like #5 from H&M–great for spring and summer!
On the pregnancy note, I look pretty pregnant in this outfit in real life, but for some reason you can still hardly tell in these pics. The baby belly popped out for real during week 24 in Maui, and tomorrow I’ll hit week 26. I’ve been feeling really good and very normal, though as this belly is growing I’m starting to wonder how I’ll tie my shoes (running shoes for working out) or clip my toenails in weeks to come. 😛
