Today I have a simple but fun remix to show three different outfits with a black graphic print tee! Before we get into the outfits with a black graphic print tee, a couple of notes! First, you know I often say that great style starts with having the RIGHT pieces, so starting with a good tee is always key. All tees are not created equally and some drape better, which elevates the look and feel of the outfit, while others don’t hang well and cling in undesirable ways. Second, you can do all of these outfits with a plain black tee as well, but I love how a print or a graphic adds tons of visual interest with the same amount of effort!
The tee in today’s post in particular costs a bit more than I typically pay for tees, but it is VERYYYYYYY, VERY COMFY! It is soooo soft and smooth, and it drapes and hangs really well. Alright, let’s talk through a few outfits with a black graphic print tee that you can try!
SIZING: I’m 5’6” and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
1. Casual — Medium or Light Wash Jeans + Black Tee
First, jeans and a tee. But not just any jeans! If you really only have a couple of pieces in your outfit, like jeans and a tee, you need to make each one count. Play with the balance of the dark tee by pairing it with a medium or light wash jean. Even better if it has a little distressing to add more visual interest!
These jeans are by KUT from the Kloth, and they are AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE! The denim is sooooo SOFT and really STRETCHY, and while there isn’t that elastic strip in the waistband that you all know I can’t live without, the waistband IS stretchy, giving you a good 2+ extra inches of wiggle room! Check them out, HERE. I’m wearing size 4, and take note that they loosen up a bit over time, so size down if between sizes to account for that. (I find that almost all KUT from the Kloth jeans loosen up with wear.) The pic above shows how loose they are on me after several hours of wear.

2. Athleisure — Joggers + Black Tee
Next, you can of course go super casual with a pair of joggers! You can pair the black graphic tee with black joggers for a classic combo, or you can wear joggers in the brown family, like I’m doing here, which gives it a more modern and fresher feel. Browns are the new black right now!
These are my favorite Zella Live In Joggers which made the PMT Best Sellers list for all of 2021. They’re a mega fan-favorite! They are SMOOTH, STRETCHY, and sooooo comfy! They have a sporty vibe rather than a sweatpants vibe, so if you ever worry about looking like you’re in pajamas when you wear joggers, this pair will ease those worries.
I’ve typically shown them in black, but like I said, all things in the brown color family are the new black, so I love the little twist this “Tan Dusk” color provides! 3. Dressy Casual — Classic Jeans + Black Blazer
Last, dress up a black graphic print tee by pairing it with classic dark wash jeans, a blazer, and heels! Don’t you love how versatile a t-shirt can be?
I told you about these Wit & Wisdom jeans a couple of weeks ago, but in case you missed it, I recently bought them to replace my old pair that I’d worn out. I originally said they came with the label “Luxe Touch,” but my memory served me incorrectly! The label was “Lycra.” But either way, the feel of the material is still the same—great! They are very smooth and stretchy but are slightly thicker than the standard Wit & Wisdom Ankle Skinny Jeans, so they have even better stretch and feel a bit more supportive! You could take this jeans + tee combo and keep it casual with sneakers and a utility jacket, or you can finish off the outfit with a blazer and pumps to dress it up!
