This is an outfit I wore in St. Louis. I read someone say in a cold weather packing post that they feel warmer with 3-4 thinner layers than with one big sweater, and I totally agree. I’m not in cold weather often, but that’s how I dressed when I was traveling to Chicago many a winter weekend and I surprisingly did not struggle much with the cold.
So, even though this sweater is super thin, I wore a Uniqlo HEATTECH underneath, layered on the white button up, and topped it off with this thin sweater and added the tartan Zara scarf when we went outside (and a jacket, of course…). I don’t know if I should call it a scarf or a blanket, because this thing is enormous. When I asked for it for Christmas I didn’t know it was going to be a blanket, and I didn’t know it was a popular style blogger thing to own. Whatever, not like it matters anyway. It seems I won’t be getting as much use out of it in San Diego as I’d hoped since I had no idea how big and blankety it was. No worries. It’s still a much appreciated gift! And psst…it’s on sale for $13 right now!
