Navy, Khaki, and Red for Work

I’ve decided this is my new work outfit.  It’s simple, not terribly boring, but overall decently put together.  (Maybe minus the wrinkles.  Bah.)  And it’s comfortable and nursing friendly.  So, bam.  Three birds with one stone!

I always forget that I love navy and tan together.  Like, a whole lot.  You could also do this look with black shoes, which I quickly snapped a pic of and will show a side-by-side of some other day.  However, I’m partial to a pop of color.  Red shoes?  Yes, please!

Lastly, I’ve been wearing this watch any chance I can get.  When I was a kid I wore a watch so much that I got a crazy, like crazy, strong watch tan.  If I wasn’t wearing a watch, you would have thought I had a white watch on.  What can I say?  I tan easily.  Let’s not even start with how bad my sock tan was!

Anyway!  I haven’t had a watch for a while, but this Daniel Wellington one is perfect.  It’s sleek and streamline, but by no means boring.  It’s faced with crystals which adds a great feminine detail, though I can never capture that in pics because of the light outside.  (You can see them on the DW site.)  If you’re in the market for a watch, you can get 15% off any DW watch with code puttingmetogether until April 30th!
