Every so often I do these Instagram roundups because I often post outfits or images there that never make it to the blog, or could take weeks otherwise. And when I post really good stuff over there, they might sell out by the time they ever make the blog. Follow along @puttingmetogether.com if you want more outfit inspiration!
There are two other ways you can shop my Instagram outfits before they hit these blog roundups, and (I think) you don’t necessarily need to be an Instagram follower for one of them:
If you’re an IG user, I use a function called LIKEtoKNOWit through which I can link to exact or similar items shown in Instagram posts, and you can get all those shopping links emailed to you. Just take 30 seconds to register at www.LIKEtoKNOW.it. From then on, anytime you see a photo from me or anyone else tagged with @liketoknow.it, if you “like” the post, an email will be sent to you with links to shop the items. It’s super simple, and it’s nice to not have to fish for items yourself but have direct links sent right to you. (Disclosure, those links are affiliate links, so a small commission may be earned if a purchase is made through those links.)
You can shop my looks from the web by going directly to my LIKEtoKNOWit page: http://liketoknow.it/puttingmetogether. You still have to register with LIKEtoKNOWit, but I’m uncertain that you need to have an IG account.
Lastly, for my photos on Instagram, if you don’t want shopping links but just want to know where items are from, I usually tag the photo with the stores I got the items from. Tap the photo once to see them!
Here’s what you missed!
Wore this matchy-matchy outfit a whiiiiiiile back for a morning at the zoo with Addie. These sneakers are SO comfortable and needed zero breaking in! They’re on sale for $40 and come in 11 colors! I’m normally size 8.5-9 and got these in 8.5.
Here’s a flat lay of an outfit I blogged last week. This scarf…I had good feelings about it when I ordered it, but now that I have it I have amazing feelings about it. 😀 😀 😀 Last year I was looking for a lighter colored scarf to lighten up all the dark colors I wear during the fall and winter. Last year I ordered one from Nordstrom that I ended up not loving, but this one…this one is IT!
In the past I’ve talked about tops that feel like t-shirts but have some more details to them that take them up a notch from a normal plain tee. This one has dolman sleeves and is printed, and those two things combined allow you to dress this tee up a little, or wear it totally casually, while still having the comfort of a plain t-shirt. AND IT’S ON SALE. It’s currently $12, but in the last WEEK I’ve seen an additional 30% and 40% off, making it as low as $7.20 sometimes! I’m normally S/M and wearing Medium. It shrinks a *little* hand washed and air dried. No idea what machine washing would do to it.
I got these flats last spring, and they were sold out for a while but are available again and currently 50% off, making them under $35! I’m normally 8.5-9 and wear these in 9.
These are some of my favorite accessories for fall. Many people have expressed desire for this leopard clutch, but it is often sold out. Well, IT’S BACK IN STOCK! Find it HERE in the Accessories section.
Everything else…well, all of this just makes me love fall style so much!
I was so happy that I actually NEEDED the cardigan on this day. Because it was “only” 70 something plus I was in an air conditioned place. Haha! Whatever it takes, man. It’s back up to 90 degrees here!
This is the same olive tee from above (one of my faves!) mixed with light neutrals instead. Mixing and matching is so fun! I got tons of questions about wearing white jeans in the winter. YES! DO IT! The only thing I’m wary of is when it’s rainy and the ground is muddy. I don’t know about you, but mud flings up easily onto my pants, and that is terrible with white jeans. However, if it’s not rainy or muddy, I’m ALL FOR wearing white pants anytime of year!
Here’s a flat lay of another look I blogged not too long ago. I just realized I showed this necklace in 5 pics in today’s post. That’s because it goes with EVERYTHING! Many of you have asked about it, and it can be found HERE. It’s actually a locket, which makes it even cooler. A couple cautions: It is brass (not gold) so it scuffs a little. I kinda like that look, actually. Secondly, the chain is also extremely delicate, so I swapped it out for one of my own from another necklace.
I wore this a while ago for a morning at the Children’s Museum. This top is just loose fitting and easy to wear. Perfect for moving around, doing a lot of exploring and hands-on things at the Children’s Museum with a toddler. I’m soooo glad I didn’t get paint on these shoes, haha!

I also wrote some heavier reflections on some of the turmoil that’s happening in our world. It can be found HERE.
