4 Characteristics of an Interesting Outfit

If you have been reading PMT for a while it should be no surprise that I LOVE making a monochrome outfit pop by adding a colored shoe.  I feel like colored shoes can totally change an outfit.  They give it life and add personality–all in some tiny little shoes!
These are the same pumps I styled in navy last month in an office look HERE.  They are SO comfortable because of the cushioned footbed and slight platform which makes them super easy to walk in albeit the heel.
For today’s outfit I partnered with Naturalizer again to style this pump for a girl’s night out or date night!  I took an all black outfit and incorporated Stacy and Clinton’s 4 qualities for creating an interesting outfit: color, texture, pattern, and shine.  I’ve got some texture in the suede shoes and the leather jacket, pattern in the top, shine in the necklace, and color in these fabulous maroon pumps!
In the spring I tend to wear colored shoes more often, and in brighter colors.  But for fall and winter these maroon pumps are PERFECT.  They pair well with the darker colors I tend to wear in colder months like grey, tan, black, and navy and they add color in a sophisticated way.
In case you missed it, here is last month’s office look with these pumps in navy.  This silhouette is classic, versatile, and able to take you through several different activities!  They come in 9 colors and can all be found HERE!
