Freshening Up Your Wardrobe With Le Tote + 20% Off Code

When I set out to rebuild my closet and style, one major thing I found necessary (that took me way too long to figure out) was to have a closet full of staples mixed with some statement pieces or current of-the-season pieces.  These days I have a good handle on my personal staples (skinny jeans, blazers, ankle boots, plaid and gingham button ups, white jeans, cargo jacket, jersey dresses, etc.) and you’ve seen me re-wear many of them throughout the last few YEARS.  The statement and of-the-season pieces, though…those are the ones I make the most shopping mistakes with.

That’s why I’m excited to partner with Le Tote, because they offer a fantastic service that helps minimize those shopping mistakes (as well as minimizing the clutter in your closet) while keeping your wardrobe fresh!

Le Tote is a clothing rental service for which you pay $49/mo for membership and essentially get unlimited access to clothes and accessories.  You create a profile and “like” all of your favorite pieces.  A stylist then curates a tote for you from your favorites (3 garments, 2 accessories per tote) and you can wear them for as long or as little as you want.  Send back the tote in the prepaid envelope whenever you’re done, and Le Tote will immediately send you a new tote with new stuff.  You can switch totes like 3 or 5 or however many times you want in a month, which is awesome.

The stylist feature is a huge plus for anyone who could use some guidance.  But if you’d rather choose your own pieces or in case you’re worried that you won’t like or need what the stylist chooses, you can customize your box and get exactly what you want.  You’ll receive an email 24 hours before your box is sent off to you, and you can switch out any of the items if needed.

On top of that, shipping is FREE 2-day both ways.  Plus, Le Tote takes care of laundering for you.  UM, YES!  Double yes for the mamas out there who ain’t got time to do more laundry.

You can constantly mix up your wardrobe without having to really commit, which is great for minimizing shopping mistakes as well as closet clutter.  It’s fast, sooooo simple, and you never have to leave your house!
Here are a few ways I’ve freshened up my closet staples with pieces from Le Tote:

This skirt was in my tote, and I LOOOOOVVVVEEEEDDD it!  I’m not even sure if it was one of the pieces I favorited, so the stylist who curated my tote nailed it.  The rest of the pieces are basics and staples in my closet–a plain black tank, a denim jacket, and nude wedges.  But, those staples mixed with this skirt from Le Tote gave me a fresh summer outfit!

Next up was this black top that I chose as one of my favorites.  A black blouse like this might be a closet staple for many people, but I didn’t really have one in my closet.  Plus, I love how it swings out a little bit, which you can see in the side view.

I paired it with white jeans, that teal statement necklace, and my tote–all items you guys have seen me wear a ton.  But, thanks to this new top from Le Tote I had a fresh outfit for dinner with Benson.

I also received this pretty dress with a fun cut and print.  While it’s not paired with pieces I’d consider staples, usually I feel like my dress collection in general can use refreshing.  That’s especially true of the dresses that you’d wear to parties, showers, and weddings, you know?  There’s only so many times you can re-wear those without feeling self-conscious about it!

With Le Tote you can get a new dress for those special events without feeling like you wasted your money to have it sit in your closet hardly ever worn again.  Instead, you get to wear a new dress for that $49/mo monthly cost, along with all the other items that came in your tote, plus however many other totes full of new items you trade during that month.  Pretty worth it considering one new dress itself would cost around $49 or more.

Overall, it’s such a good service for anyone who doesn’t want to have to think much about clothes or worry about buyer’s remorse.

If you really love any of the items in your box, you can purchase them at extremely discounted rates–up to 80% off retail.  I know that might seem weird for clothes that have been used by others, but that’s why they’re discounted!  🙂  I will add that I have a hard time remembering these clothes are not brand new because they look and feel totally brand new.
