Casual Day 3 – The Magical Top

These dolman tunics with the elastic down on the hips–when I first picked it up I was sure it wouldn’t work for me, but it turns out they’re magical.  Or this one is, at least.  Somehow the elastic at the waist and how it causes everything above it to drape magically hides a tummy.  Not that I’m trying to hide my baby belly, but this top does it and I’ve been in awe all week.
I mean, look:
The pictures on the left are what the top looks like just hanging on me…and NOT sucking in.  The right is what’s really under there.  HOW ON EARTH?!?!  I don’t know, but like I said…magical.  I’ve gotten asked a few times over the years for tips to conceal a tummy, and a top like this would definitely be on the top of my list if I were trying to do that.
Besides that, it’s super soft and stretchy and I’ve been wearing it for the last 3 days and you bet it’s coming on the retreat next week.  It’s essentially a t-shirt with fancy draping and is actually more comfortable!  (Retreat style completed in the pic with the jacket, cuz it be cold at night.  Probably would swap the flats for TOMs.)
The sad part is that this exact top isn’t available anymore!  I know.  I hyped it all up only to let you down.  I found some similar ones, linked below, and while I can’t guarantee that they’ll do the job I would recommend at least trying ones like this.  Even if you’re not trying to conceal anything, it’s comfy beyond comfy.
