Here’s a roundup of yours and my favorites from April! This list includes best sellers from last month, plus some of my personal favorites that were both shown and not shown on the blog.
A lot of these were from the recent Amazon highlights that I sent to email subscribers. Apparently y’all love Amazon finds!
SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
1. Amazon Button-Down Peplum Blouse – size S
I called this blouse a “fun little find” and it ended up being a best seller! This blouse is smooth and drapey, and it works well in nicer casual outfits and paired with work pants. It has a belted waist so that you can create definition at the waist without having to tuck! (Shout out to those who are anti-tuckers.) The waistband is adjustable, and there’s elastic in the back to allow you to move more comfortably. This style of waistband is not great if you have a wider midsection since it cuts right across it. Otherwise, it can create nice definition at the waist! It comes in 28 colors and prints! See them all HERE. I wear size S.
2. Wit & Wisdom Kick Flare Pants – size 4
This was from a recent blog post called “How to Update Three Classic Spring Outfit Combos.” Kick flare pants add a modern element, and swapping this cut into any of your outfits will instantly give them a more modern feel! These pants are STRETCHY and comfy with an ELASTIC WAISTBAND! They’re lightweight and better suited for warmer spring temps and the summer. They can be worn in more relaxed work settings or for casual outfits like I’m showing here. Find these pants in 4 colors, HERE. I wear size 4.
3. Target Flutter Sleeve Top – size S
This top was in my Casual Spring Capsule Wardrobe, and I bought it because I love this color—and I love that this color is everywhere this spring! It’s an elevated casual top that I wore it to church on Easter with white jeans. I recommend tucking it, even in a full tuck and bloused out, because otherwise it’s really billowy. It comes in 4 colors and is available in sizes XS to 4X, HERE. I wear size S.
4. Gap Crewneck Tee – size S
This is one of my personal faves from the month! This tee is really soft, a bit thick, and drapes well. How a garment hangs or drapes goes a long way in making something look stylish, so a tee that drapes well like this makes it easy to look put together! It comes in 16 colors and in regular, tall, and petite sizes. See them all HERE. I’m wearing size S.
There are soooo many ways you can wear this tee. Another option is to pair it with light wash jeans for a great summer to spring look. Go for dark wash jeans if you like to be more classic. And pair it with the linen pants that I’m showing below for a modern, summery, and COMFY outfit!
5. Gap Linen Pants – size S
These wide leg linen pants will be great for warmer spring weather and into the summer. And they are really comfy! And super important: These are not your scratchy, cheap-looking linen pants. These feel soft and of good quality! Like I said earlier, having the right pieces makes a huge difference in how stylish your outfits look, and having quality linen pants like these will instantly make your casual outfits look better! These pants also have a zipper fly and some elastic in the back of the waistband for more flexibility and comfort. I really like these pants, and they make wearing something casual like linen pants feel stylish and polished simply because of their quality! 6. Dr. Scholl’s Slip-On Sneakers – size 8.5
These Dr. Scholl’s sneakers are my everyday shoes! These are SOOO comfy, with a cushioned footbed that STAYS cushiony throughout the day. (Meaning it doesn’t get matted down.) This style goes with basically everything, from joggers to casual pants to jeans of all cuts, and keeps outfits looking sleek and modern while still being super casual with sneakers. I love them! I wear size 8.5. Also available in wide! See them on me in the last pic above.
7. Caslon Denim Jacket – size S
For casual activities, a denim jacket is a MUST during the spring! But, COMFY is KEY. Any denim jacket I wear must be lightweight, soft, and STRETCHY, and this one totally fits the bill! And it’s only $39.97, which is really good for a jacket that’s stretchy and comfortable like this! It feels like similarly-comfortable denim jackets that are usually $79, so grab this one while you can! It comes in this medium-light wash and a darker wash, HERE. I’m wearing size S.
Denim jackets go flawlessly with basically anything that isn’t a pair of blue jeans. I especially love to pair them with wide leg bottoms because the denim jacket’s shorter length and snugger fit helps to counter the volume from wide legs.
8. Old Navy Wide Leg Pants – size 4
These were honorable mention in my recent post “13 Super Comfortable Pants for Spring.” Since writing that blog post, it’s finally been warm enough to wear them a couple of times, and they are actually comfier than I thought they’d be through all-day wear. I like having them as a modern element to swap into outfits! These pants come in 6 colors and in sizes 0 to 30 and in regular, tall, and petite. See them HERE. I wear size 4.
9. Old Navy Shaker Cardigan (Short) – size S
If you wear other cuts of pants that aren’t skinny, then shorter cardigans are often necessary to provide more shape and better silhouettes. That is a discussion for another time, but this cardigan is the type that works better with non-skinny jeans. It’s cute with its large buttons! This cardigan is available in 2 colors and in regular, tall, and petite lengths, and goes up to size 4X. Unfortunately plus sizes are sold out in this color, but they are available in the other color. See them all, HERE.
10. Amazon Cross-Front Maxi Dress – size S
This dress is SUPER comfy, made of SOFT and STRETCHY material. It has an empire waist to offer some definition while still being very fluid, forgiving, and not constricting. Comes in 19 colors and prints, HERE. I’m wearing size S. It’s also made of sustainably sourced rayon blend and 3 of the solid colors are available in plus sizes.
11. Amazon Fleece-Lined Joggers – size M
We are heading into summer soon but I know it is still pretty dang cold in a lot of places. So YES—why not fleece-lined joggers? These are smooth, stretchy, and sporty, but they have a thin, fleece-like lining to keep you extra toasty and cozy until it warms up. So comfy!
These have a high rise that is unfortunately too high for me so I’ll keep looking for myself 😭. But if you like high-rise pants and are in the market for cozy joggers, give these a try! They come in 4 colors, and in straight, plus, and petite sizing, HERE. I’m wearing size M.
12. Amazon Athleisure Pants (better for WARM weather!)
If you’re looking for a warmer weather option, i.e. not fleece lined, these are lightweight, stretchy, and don’t wrinkle! One of our PMT team members bought them for an upcoming trip to Portugal and in her words, “Could these be the ultimate travel pants??” Check out this very similar pair but with pockets in the back and in more color options, HERE.

14. New Balance Classic Sneakers
These come in 45 colors!! These sneaks will help you walk any city in style! Sandstone/Turtledove/Incense is a great neutral.
