One of my joys from blogging is helping you find suuuuper comfortable clothes that look stylish and put together. So today I’m sharing a list of really, really comfortable pants for spring that are currently available, including jeans, pants for work, and athleisure pants that are all stretchy and comfortable!
If you are working your way towards having a more comfortable wardrobe, I recommend starting with PANTS! I personally need freedom to move around, walk, and sit for long periods of time, so comfortable pants are key.
Some of the comfortable pants on today’s list are long-standing PMT tried-and-true recommendations while others are newer finds that I’ve come across lately and want to highlight for you.
I don’t own all of these pants, so I can’t speak to how well some of them wash and wear. But I have at least tried all of them on, so I can speak on how they feel.
Since there are quite a few pants to share, I’ll try to keep the descriptions brief. 😅 And truly, most of them will just say the pants are “super soft and stretchy!” 😂 But hey, it’s true. That’s why they’re on this list!
SIZING: I’m 5’6” and usually wise S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
1. Liverpool Work Pants – size 4
PMT community’s holy grail of work pants! Insanely SOFT and STRETCHY! Seriously so, soooo comfy. They feel like butter (and like yoga pants) but they are super polished and professional. The waistband doesn’t have *extra* elastic, but since the entire thing is stretchy, the waistband is stretchy, if that makes sense. 2. Amanda & Chelsea Work Pants – size S
Very stretchy and affordable! Again, same thing as above about the waistband. The pair of pants is all stretchy, so while the waistband doesn’t have *extra* stretch, the waistband does stretch a decent amount. Sizes go quickly at this store, but these are a good option for a better price point if you can snag them. I’m wearing size 6.

3. Wit & Wisdom Skinny Pants – size 4
Non-slacks option that’s great for less formal work settings—but aren’t jeans. Stretchy and comfy with a stretchy elastic waistband! Stretchy waistbands are so important for being comfortable at work! I wear these in size 4 but would also wear size 6 if it’s in a lighter color that I don’t want to be quite as tight. 4. Wit & Wisdom Kick Flare Pants – size 4
Basically the same pants as the ones above, except these are in a modern kick flare cut. Stretchy, comfy, and have the elastic waistband for all-day comfort! Great option for comfortable pants that you can wear to work but aren’t slacks. Available in several colors, HERE. I wear size 4.

5. Old Navy Powersoft Coze Pants – size S
Nice athleisure/super casual option. Suuuuper soft and stretchy. Also have a thin fuzzy lining to keep you warmer—better for cooler spring weather. Very comfy and basically feel like joggers except they don’t have the same jogger silhouette or sporty cuffs at the ankles. The waistband is fully elastic. This pair comes in 4 colors and in sizes XS to 4X and in regular and tall lengths. Find them HERE.

6. Amazon Cozy (Fleece-Lined!) Joggers – size M
Joggers with a thin fleece lining for a cozy feel—another pair that’s better for cooler spring weather. These are smooth, stretchy, and sporty, but they have a thin, fleece-like lining to keep you extra warm and cozy until it warms up. The waistband is fully elasticSo comfy! These have a high rise and come in 4 colors, and in straight, plus, and petite sizing, HERE. I’m wearing size M.

7. Amazon Tapata Straight Leg Fleece Lined Pants – Lined with fleece! – size M
I bought these a long time ago, and I’m not sure if they are still the same, but the pair I have is super stretchy and soft. Another pair that feels like yoga pants! Very comfortable pants for work that are more affordable than the Liverpool pair. And again, like the other work pants in this post, the waistband doesn’t have *extra* elastic, but since the entire pair of pants is stretchy, the waistband also stretches. These come in several colors and four inseam lengths from 28″ to 34″ including petite, regular, tall, and long. You can find them HERE. I’m wearing size M.

8. Wit & Wisdom Skinny Crop Jeans – size 6
You all know by now that Wit & Wisdom is my favorite brand of jeans for being super comfortable. They are generally very soft and stretchy, and they have elastic waistbands for extra comfort. But some pairs are even softer than others, and this pair is SUUUUUPER SOFT!
This is also the pair that I’ve mentioned that’s a good transition from skinny jeans to straight cuts. This is technically a skinny cut, so it hugs your hips and thighs and keeps your shape, unlike traditional straight leg cuts which can sometimes make you feel shapeless, but it reads like a slim straight cut with the wider opening at the bottom. It’ll give you the slim straight leg look without having to completely change all of your tops to accommodate the new silhouette. Find them HERE. I wear size 6.

9. Lee Straight Leg Jeans – size 6 Short
This brand and specific line are a recent find, and they’re such a gem! They are thick and stretttccchhhyyy, AND they have an elastic waistband (!!) but they cost less than Wit & Wisdom. One note is that some colors and cuts are NOT as soft as others. This pair is very soft and are available in short, average, and tall/long lengths, HERE. I’m wearing size 6 Short in the color Seattle. (I got them in Short to be ankle length on me.)

10. Lee Bootcut Jeans – size 6
This is the same brand and line as the ones above, but in a boot cut instead of straight leg cut. Really, really soft and comfortable and stretchy with a stretchy waistband! Available in 4 washes and in short, regular, and tall lengths, HERE and in plus sizes HERE. I’m wearing size 6 in the color “Renegade.”

11. Wit & Wisdom Bootcut Jeans – size 8
These are PMT favorites. VERY stretchy, soft, and comfy, and they have the comfortable elastic waistband! I size up to 8 in these as I like the fit and length better, though size 6 fits comfortably as well.

12. Democracy Ab-Leisure Pants – size S
These “Ab Leisure” pants are like elevated, slightly more polished joggers! They are just as smooth, stretchy, and comfy as joggers and have a stretchy, fully elastic waistband—seriously just like joggers. But they have a straight leg silhouette, utility pockets, a cuffed hem, and front seams to give off a more polished vibe while still looking—and feeling—completely laid back. Really great option for those who like to be super relaxed and comfortable while working from home but still feel put together! Find them HERE. I’m wearing size S.

13. Old Navy Cropped Wide Leg Pants – wearing size 4
This is my last pair of pants, and these should be more like honorable mention. They are definitely not as comfortable as the other pants on this list, but I thought they were worth mentioning. Why are they not as comfy? They aren’t as soft as all the other pairs here (yes, even including the jeans), and the quality is noticeably lower, which definitely affects how comfortable pants feel overall. Also, this is the only pair that doesn’t have a stretchy waistband. Regardless, these are a fun pair to add a trendy piece to your wardrobe that is decently comfortable and affordable to experiment with. These are really lightweight with some stretch to them. These pants come in 6 colors and in sizes 0 to 30 and in regular, tall, and petite. See them HERE. I wear size 4.
