3 COMFY but CHIC Tops That Feel Like Athleisure or Pajamas. YAS!

If you’ve ever wished you could just wear a sweatshirt or your favorite comfy pullover fleece to work, out to eat with friends, or even for a date night, but still look chic and put together, THIS POST IS FOR YOU.  Raise your hands if you feel me!
I’m a huge proponent that comfort is not opposed to feeling put together, and I often talk about super stretchy and soft jeans or business casual slacks that feel like yoga pants, comfortable cushiony shoes, or easy to wear tops.  However, I think I’ve hit the jackpot with the tops I’m featuring today!
Today I’ve got 3 tops for you that feel like athleisure/workout/fleece/pajamas–one or all of those–but can be dressed up in “presentable” ways for work, lunch dates with friends, or date nights.  These are all from Nordstrom, who I’m partnering with again for this post.  My wardrobe started feeling amazing and more comfortable than ever when I started shopping at Nordstrom just a couple years ago.  They have some of the most comfy clothes at pretty reasonable prices, and I’m excited to tell you about the three below!
Comfy Tops That Also Look Chic!
I’ve styled each of them in only one outfit, but in a post soon-to-come I will show each of these tops in a second outfit, either in an athleisure outfit or the other direction–another step up in polish!
Let’s get to them, shall we?

Buttery Soft Cozy Long Sleeve Swingy Top
First up is this soft, kinda FUZZY, cozy, stretchy long sleeve top.  Yes, you heard me say fuzzy!  Online, I almost overlooked it because it did not look special.  Just saying.  But it had high reviews, so I was like hmmmm…what am I missing?  People raved about this top, so I ordered it just to try, and OH MAN I get what they were talking about!
This feels like a really light fleece for athleisure or lounging, but as shown above you can totally wear it for more than that!  The color I’m wearing looks red/maroon on the product page and even reddish in my pics above, but it’s actually got a little more purple in it in real life.  Like a very deep, magenta/wine.  I LOVE the color!
This comes in 6 solid colors and 4 different striped variations.  COMFY COZY FLEECE-LIKE STRIPED TOP?  I mean, they really know the way to my heart!  I also saw the navy one on someone else, and it looked like a beautiful vibrant blue on her compared to the product site.  I wanna check that out because it was gorgeous! See all colors HERE.
It runs large!  I’m 5’6″ and normally S/M or 6/8 and wear this in XS.

Convertible Cowl Neck / Off the Shoulder Fleece
Next up, another fuzzy, cozy, thin fleece tunic!  You might be looking at it as an off-the-shoulder (OTS) top above, thinking, “NO” because OTS tops can be impractical.  But don’t worry, IT’S CONVERTIBLE!  It becomes a cozy cowl neck which you can see on the product site HERE.
When this is a cowl neck, it really just looks and feels like a cozy fleece that you wanna wrap yourself up in while you lounge at home with a warm cup of hot chocolate!  Yet here I dressed it up with black jeans, a leopard print clutch, and jewelry.  Basically, you’d be wrapped up in your cozy fleece looking chic for a night out.  How awesome is that?!
This top comes in 8 colors: black, dark teal, forest green, burgundy, grey (mine), oatmeal, light pink, and a bold red.  See them all HERE.  I’m 5’6″ and usually 6/8 or S/M and wear this top in S.
Side note: If we’re being real, I find wearing it off the shoulder completely impractical as it’s stretchy and slips up with every movement.  But I at least wanted to show it to you!  There are tricks to keep OTS tops from slipping up (it involve hair ties and safety pins–Google it), but I’m so glad this converts to a cute cowl neck so you don’t *have to* wear it off the shoulder!

I got these black jeans during the Anniversary Sale and have been LOVING them!  They are very stretchy but maintain their shape through multiple wears.  There is elastic in the waistband for extra comfort too!  Check them out HERE.

Bell Sleeve Top
Last up is this cute bell sleeve top!  This one is also really soft (of course!) and feels like a pajama top.  A cute pajama top with bell sleeves and ruffles, ha!  Large bell sleeves tend to get in the way of everyday life, like getting into food at meals (saddddd), but I love tops like this one with these kind of baby bell sleeves!

This is the only one of today’s three tops that I don’t think could be styled for athleisure.  However, it can dressed up with slacks and heels for an office!  Wouldn’t you love to walk into your office feeling like you’re wearing pajamas?  I know I would!

This top comes in navy, black, this maroon, and light pink.  See them all HERE.  I’m usually size 6/8 or S/M and sized way down for this one in XS.

Also, these dark wash jeans need some praise!  They are stretchy and do not lose their shape after multiple wears before washing.  I tried them a long time ago and thought they had too much material.  In retrospect, I got the wrong size.  I thought sizing down to 6 was enough, but this time I tried size 4 and they’re perrrrrrfect!  I’m also wearing them in the first picture in this post with the knee high suede boots.  I have been wearing these nonstop since I got them!  If you’re looking for a fantastic pair of dark wash jeans, check these out HERE!  Also come in petite sizing.

Note: The jeans are called jeggings, but I can’t tell the difference between them and regular jeans.  Mayyyyybe, maybe, maybe slightly thinner, but not by much.  *shrug*
