Transitioning to fall? Okay, NOT REALLY over here. In fact, this week is one of the hottest this season for us. BUT, I wore this on a day that was a cool 75 and during which I also got to sit in an air conditioned building for work meetings (as seen on Snapchat: audreyPMT). Hence the jacket, which I actually used in that air conditioned building.
Since it’s not a legitimate transition to fall, just log this away for the future. I last posted this top with shorts and sandals HERE (though I’ve been wearing that outfit every few days since then!) This outfit will be great once we are really teetering between summer and fall. I like how white jeans keep the look light and summery, while a trusty olive cargo jacket hits on that fall note. If I wanted it to feel a little more fall (and maybe less spring) I’d probably go for ankle boots instead of wedges. A cargo jacket and ankle boots are my favorite go-to pieces to help an outfit feel like fall, especially when it’s still a little warm outside. You’ll probably see me in those a LOT in the next few months since it doesn’t appear to be getting cooler here anytime soon!
