- Transitioning into Fall. Even though it’s going to be summer weather where I live for several months, I know that’s not the case for everyone. I’ll start talking about fall style soon!
- Upcoming Fall Posts: I’ve found some reallyyyy good flats that I’m excited to share with you. Also, some of my closet staples that I get asked about very often are back in stock.
- Addie turns 3 in the next couple weeks! Confession: I skipped her 2nd birthday because I knew she wouldn’t remember it. I mean, we had a small celebration with family, but that was it. I’m excited for her 3rd birthday though because she has so many friends from daycare and church who she loves, and she loooooves doing things with people. Party prep for that has been low key–thank goodness! I think birthday parties are as crazy or as low key as you let them be, you know what I mean?
- August is full! We have friends visiting, we’re throwing Addie’s 3rd birthday party, we’ll be hosting both Benson’s and my mom during Addie’s birthday, Benson’s and my wedding anniversary is this month, and we’ll be traveling for a wedding. Oh. And work’s picking up with the school year starting! This month is going to fly by, so if I’m not posting as much some weeks it’s because things are BUSY!

I showed this skirt earlier this week and several weeks ago on Instagram and Facebook. It’s only available in a few sizes, though I’ve seen random sizes pop in and out of stock over the last week. If you’ve been thinking about it and can catch it in your size, get it. It’s soooo adorable! And it has POCKETS!
I knew it’d work well with a navy tee, but really the colored flats made the whole outfit come alive!

I talked about this tee right around the end of spring to the beginning of summer. I paired it with a white skirt, these chambray shorts (that are really comfortable btw–and many women have told me the same!), and saw Kilee pair it with a yellow skirt which I still need to do. It’ll transition well into the fall with the yellow skirt, bootcut jeans, or the regular go-to outfit of skinny jeans + utility jacket + white sneakers.

I haven’t talked about this top yet, but it’s freaking adorable. I used it in my summer capsule wardrobe but only recently finally received it. (I had to exchange for a different size and that took a while.) I love it here with bootcut jeans!

I’ve been loving bootcut jeans for the summer–especially these. They are very, very stretchy and comfortable, and they’re lightweight which is nice for summer. Another reason I love them for summer is because they offer more breathing room than skinny jeans. See mine HERE.

I posted this dress recently showing 3 ways to wear it HERE. My husband’s company hosted a fancy dinner at a resort, so I took the opportunity to finally wear it! We’ve got a wedding and rehearsal dinner to go to at the end of this month, and I’m thinking I might wear this dress to one of those events as well.
It doesn’t have straps so you do need a strapless bra. I wrote recently about finally finding a strapless bra that I actually LOVE and never have to pull up. Check it out HERE. I even danced in it and didn’t have to pull it up once!

Three outfits with these rust colored shoes! My red flats have been falling apart, so I hadn’t worn them in a while. So glad to have these as a replacement. They’re adorable!
P.S. I get asked a lot about the floral top on the left. It’s several years old and no longer available. It’s Lucky Brand from Nordstrom. I’m looking and looking for a similar option but haven’t found one. If I do, I’ll let you know for sure. If anyone knows of a similar one, please email me! The one I linked below is similar, but it’s white based instead of navy based like mine.

If you have been contemplating this swing dress, try it! Almost a hundred women have told me by now that they bought it and LOVE it! If you missed it, it has POCKETS and it’s the only dress I found on Amazon out of close to 10 options that was long enough at 37″. The rest were 34″ which were way too short for me.
