Still faking fall over here most days! 75-85 degrees, with occasional 68 days. So, cargo vest and bare limbs it is. And even though I have at least 10 necklaces that would go with this dress (hello, basic black maxi dress) I only want to wear this one. Every single time.
ANYWAY, so…3rd pic…shoes. Some of you have asked what shoes to wear with maxis in cooler weather, aka what else besides sandals, and honestly I’m not sure. I pinned an outfit from Jean of Extra Petite in a maxi skirt and flats that I thought was cute. I think this could have worked with flats if my arms weren’t bare–that part makes it all look a little strange I think. Soooo, pretend that jacket has sleeves…cover up the top half with your hand or something and just look at the bottom…does that still look weird? I hope not because I already wore an outfit with a maxi skirt and flats that I’m posting tomorrow. Haha!
What’s your take? Ideas for other non-sandal shoes with maxi skirts/dresses?
For those who need warmer clothes, dress #2 is a sweater dress! Also, the necklaces below are all under $10 except option #1 which is kinda pricey…but cute, no? 🙂
