I’ve been looking for replacement leather riding boots for a couple of years, but they either haven’t looked right on me or the color hasn’t been vibrant enough. In December I was also trying suede OTK boots but felt I couldn’t wear them in all the super casual settings I’m in without feeling overdressed. (Reviews HERE.) I think these boots knock out both of those with one punch!
This color is lighter and more vibrant than the browner boots I’ve found over the last couple of years. With these in the mix, I’m content with my cheap-o “replacement” riding boots that I’ve been wearing the last 2 years (THESE) and feel less of a need to find better riding boots. Also, the few inches between OTK and knee-high boots makes a huge difference for me not feeling overdressed in suede boots.
These are currently 40% off and are back in stock in almost all sizes. They also come in black and a greyish taupe. Fair warning, I don’t find them super comfortable, though they were sufficient enough for me to keep them. The heel hits more at my arch and is kind of hard since the footbed has little padding. I wear them with AirPufs which dulls the hardness, but I haven’t walked for extended lengths in them yet. I found they ran quite small and were narrow for me. I’m normally size 8.5-9 and got 9.5.
