It’s time for Memorial Day Sales!

As always, I want to encourage you to take advantage of the sales—don’t let them take advantage of you. Sales are great to help you build a wardrobe for less, but they can also entice you to buy a bunch of stuff you don’t need (eek)!

So, I really encourage you to take a moment to create an intentional list of what you need to build your summer wardrobe.

Starter Kit Summer Wardrobe List

If you need a quick list, here are my recommendations:

• denim shorts
• pair of shorts in another neutral color (like lightweight linen shorts or black denim shorts)
• 1-2 pairs of lightweight pants (like linen or Tencel pants)
• 1-2 basic tanks or tees (in solid neutral colors)
• 2-3 printed tops that go with at least two pairs of the bottoms listed above
• 1-2 solid tops with details
• 2-3 pairs of sandals in neutral colors (like tan, white, black, or metallic)
• 1-2 dresses
• 1-2 skirts

And booooom, you will have a great summer starter wardrobe!

Check off which of those items you already have in your wardrobe. Then shop for the holes you want to fill or pieces you want to update.
