I know you all want a wardrobe that is versatile and can be used in lots of different ways, so today I’m doing a fun “take one, pass it on” post! Instead of showing you several ways to wear one piece like I often do, this time I’ll show you how to take one piece from an outfit and use it in another outfit, and we’ll repeat that a couple more times, taking items from previous outfits and passing them on to create a new outfit. It’s another fun way to show how to mix and match and get more use out of your clothes!

SIZING: I’m 5’6” and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
Outfit #1
First, we’ll start with this loungewear set! These joggers and this top are both fuzzy and really comfy and cozy! They both drape and hang pretty well and are stretchy. And they look cute together in a loungewear set, or you can wear them separately with other things!

Next, let’s take the top from the loungewear set and use it in another outfit, this time with jeans so we can wear it out of the house! 😊 This top is really casual, but pairing it with jeans steps it up from the loungewear outfit above. Finish it off with sneakers to keep it casual.
These are my favorite jeans by my go-to brand Wit & Wisdom. If you’re new around here, I LOVE this brand because their jeans are SOFT, STRETCHY, and COMFY!! I especially love their Ab-solution line, which includes a SUPER STRETCHY WAISTBAND (plus the regular zipper and button) for ultimate comfort! If you never want to wear jeans because you find them uncomfortable, definitely try a pair, HERE. I wear size 4 as they run a little large. If you are unsure of sizing, I recommend ordering two sizes to try since Nordstrom offers free return shipping on all orders.
To keep this look casual, I opted for sneakers. But, not just any sneakers! I went for a warm sneaker bootie that’s lined with faux fur AND is water resistant! I love these for a warm cozy option for casual outfits. These are also ON SALE and come in 3 colors, HERE! I wear size 9.

For our next outfit, let’s take the jeans and pair them with a top that’s a little nicer to create a casual outfit that’s a slight step up from the previous one.
I’ve shown this striped tee plenty of times before, but in case you’ve missed it, this is suuuuuuper comfortable! It’s VERY soft and VERY stretchy! It’s fitted rather than loose and drapey, so you can neatly tuck it all the way into pants and skirts. Check it out HERE! I wear size M.
For an easy, classic casual outfit, pair this top with jeans and a relaxed, long cardigan and booties, like I’m showing here. Easy peasy!

Since this tee is fitted instead of loose, it creates really tailored looks for work while allowing you to be suuuuper comfortable! Throw on a blazer for a sharp elevated business casual outfit, or keep it professional but a little more relaxed with a long cardigan.
You can pair this top with lots of different types of work pants and skirts. If you’re looking for some REALLY GOOD pants for work, try the Vince Camuto Slim Leg Tech Ponte Ankle Pants! They are super SOFT and STRETCHY, and they’re thick! They look polished and professional while being CRAZY COMFY. And, they’re ON SALE! Tons and tons and tons of fellow PMT readers love these pants, so they are tried and true! These are seriously so dang comfortable that you would stay in these all day, even after work! If you want to wear close-toed shoes for work, I would recommend going for a bootcut pair or straight leg pair of pants like THESE or a wider leg pair like THESE, which are pricier but are both brands that are usually pretty comfy!
