This week I’m suuuuper excited to introduce you to Paisley Print Boutique! Paisley Print is a marketplace with a mission to have your purchases make a difference in the world.
After spending time around the world working with women who were sex trafficked and forced to work in bars in Thailand, with HIV positive women in Kenya with multiple children and no husband to support their family, and girls who had been abducted by the LRA in Uganda, shop owner Jen Flavin started dreaming of how she could play a role in supporting these women.
Jen eventually started Paisley Print Boutique, which carries items that are sourced through organizations that work to support these women and others in similar circumstances. These organizations teach women vocational skills like how to make jewelry, soap, scarves, bags, etc. to help them earn a living, break free from these cycles, and to be able to build a better life for themselves and for their children.
