Wear That Dress

In case you missed it, yesterday I announced a weekly PMT Style Challenge.  This week’s challenge is: wear a dress.  For some that might be really simple.  For others it may be a huge challenge given that it is RIDICULOUSLY COLD where you live, or you hate dresses.  Neither of those apply to me, but these days wearing a dress still feels like a challenge to me!
If you’re doing the challenge, your dress can be solid or printed, but today I’m showing a solid one.  Usually I look at these in my closet and quickly dismiss them because they seem boring.  But I was determined to wear a dress!  (In fact, looking at this dress in my closet was what sparked the motivation to do these weekly challenges.)  I first had it with just the mustard cardigan and was pretty “meh” about it.  But, as I piled on the layers and accessories the whole thing grew on me!

I think my brain is only at like 75% capacity now that I have a baby, so I kinda forgot how impactful accessories can be.  And for a solid dress, accessories are KEY.

Here’s some more inspiration for wearing a dress:
