And after all that talk about the black lace tank top, here’s an outfit with the white one. I wish I could pull off lacy, girly looks, but I generally feel like lace is too soft and girly for the type of energy my personality exudes. It’s like it doesn’t match me or something. However, I think I’ve learned how to do lace in a way that I feel suits me by pairing it with more structured pieces to toughen up its delicate nature. Like in today’s outfit I appreciate the bit of structure and harder texture in the necklace, though the colors are soft. But my ultimate favorite is pairing lace with leather like in my bag, shoes, or jacket. How do you all feel about wearing lace? Anyone else feel like you need to toughen it up a little?
