One of the many things that’s nice about a printed top is that it can do the work of choosing your color palette for you. You might think you need to tone down a print by pairing it with neutrals, but one thing I love to do is pull out some of the colors from the print and use it in the rest of the outfit. The print is the piece that ties it all together. Normally I might go with a neutral cardigan if I were wearing these (not mauve) pants :P, but I had fun pairing them with a yellow cardigan since both of those colors were in the print!
