Super Comfy Nude Wedges That Go With Almost Anything

You guys. I think I’ve found the comfiest wedges I’ve ever tried. I kept running through all the wedges I’ve ever owned to verify that that is true, and to the best of my memory, I think it’s true.

I found them because Nordstrom and UGG asked me to try some of UGG’s spring shoes. I was like, “UGG has spring shoes?!” Apparently so! I tried a few of them and ultimately landed on these (found HERE) because, though they are pretty expensive, they are so comfortable!

First of all, they’re really lightweight. Often wedges can be heavy and stiff because there is so much material in the heel, but because these are made of cork they’re very lightweight and more bendable. They’re also not hard on your feet. The straps across the toe and supporting the ankle are pretty soft, so I never feel like my toes are cramped or rubbing against anything. Lastly, the height on the wedge is very manageable and very, very easy to walk in while still giving you lift and elongating your leg (if you like that).
I normally wear 8.5/9 and kept these in 8.5. The 9s were a just a little long on me, which I actually wouldn’t have minded had I not had the 8.5s.
Since they’re nude, they go with basically anything. So instead of trying to showcase different ways you can wear them, I just wanted to show how they look on me with different types of bottoms because I feel that’s important in finding a versatile shoe. Above is this shoe with jeans of the non-skinny variety, a knee length dress, and shorts.

If wedges don’t have a sleeker shape they can look a little awkward with skinny jeans, like kind of a clunky end to a skinny fitted line.  But, I love almost all wedges with bootcut, straight legged, or flared jeans!  (That said, I like these with skinny jeans too though!)

For me, having a slightly thicker ankle strap like this one rather than a super duper thin one is helpful to balance the curve of my calves. A super thin strap is usually too dainty for my calves and looks imbalanced when more of my leg is showing with dresses or shorts.

Lastly, an all neutral look!  If you’ve been looking for a wedge for the spring that’s comfortable, easy to walk in, and goes with pretty much anything, definitely give these a try!  Also, there are a few more spring shoes below from UGG that you can check out!  (And remember, shipping is free both ways with Nordstrom so it’s risk free to give them a shot.)
