- Addie’s 3rd Birthday. We’ve already had a very full couple of weeks with Benson’s work and my work. Then we hosted a good friend who was visiting. And this past weekend both Benson’s mom and my mom flew into town to celebrate Addie’s 3rd birthday! We had a party with about 20 kids at the local splash pad. There was also a concert happening with a free bounce house, so it was chaotic but also awesome! She loooooooves when people sing happy birthday to her. It’s adorable how happy it makes her!
- Fall Flats (upcoming). I found several really good flats for fall that I’m excited to share with you this week!
- How to Maximize Productivity (upcoming). This has nothing to do with personal style, but I thought it’d be fun to talk about! We’ll see how yall feel about it. 😛
- HEADS UP! – Moving from Blogger to WordPress. It’s been a long, long, looooong time coming, but I’m finally in the midst of moving from Blogger to WordPress. I don’t have a set date yet, but it’ll happen within the next few weeks. I’m saying that to warn you–especially if you follow via Bloglovin’ or RSS, I’ve seen a couple other situations where bloggers have moved to WordPress and their posts weren’t showing in Bloglovin’ anymore. I’ll still be posting, so if you don’t see anything come through my feed for a week, double check that we’re still connected and good!

Is anyone else experiencing the awkward time of year when it’s sometimes summer weather and sometimes fall? Not only is our weather different day-to-day, but even within the same day it could be kind of chilly and then really hot. Even my mother-in-law who is visiting commented just now, “It’s both hot and cold today. It’s really hot, but it’s soooo cold in the shade!” Pretty much. I was planning to milk my Summer Outfit Guide for all its worth, though with the inconsistent weather I’ve needed to modify some of the outfits with jeans instead of shorts, and maybe some darker colors/prints on the gloomy days. Nonetheless, there are still some outfits I can wear and the outfit formulas are still helpful!

SIZING INFO: I’m 5’6″ with a short torso, and normally size S/M or 6/8. Size 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
On Thursday I announced on Facebook and Instagram that these highly *WERE* back in stock in most sizes and colors. However, since then they’ve gone really fast (a reason you need to follow on FB or IG!), but there are still a few sizes left in various colors. Hopefully yall snatched it up! Sorry if you didn’t. 🙁
Apparently I love to pair these cardigans with the Lush tunics because I did it on 3 separate occasions above. Just proves how wonderful those tunics are to have in your closet!

Wore this to a work dinner party a couple weeks ago where we ate ribs and other BBQ deliciousness. I knew I was crazy wearing white jeans to eat ribs and BBQ–while with my toddler–but miraculously they made it out unscathed!
I remixed this top 3 ways a few weeks ago, but this is an additional 4th outfit. It might be my favorite one so far!

These black jeans are amazing BTW! I shared them during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I don’t know how they’ll wash, like if they’ll keep their color, but the fit and the elastic in the waistband is perfect.

Mornings have been a bit chilly in my neck of the woods, plus sometimes I spend them in an air conditioned boba shop. Time to bust out the cardigans! This is the Nordstrom one I showed above. Such a cute outfit! I’ll never tire of a striped tee, distressed jeans, and white sneakers. Still loving this tan/white striped tee!

This is that twist tee that I remixed 3 ways last week HERE. One note on these shoes–I’m not keeping these because my leopard print flats are still good, though I’m VERY tempted to keep them. I just wanted to show them to you because I get asked quite a bit about my pair since they’re lighter in color, and so are these. I actually like how these look better than mine, which is where the temptation comes in!
If you’re looking for a pair, the print is great on these. They are, however, a little flimsy, but perhaps that’s not necessarily a bad thing? Mine are flimsy as well, and they took no breaking in. These also run a tad narrow at the toe, but I often have a problem with shoes being slightly narrow for me. They are flat with no support, and I would add a shoe insole for more cushion.
