If you’ve got spring showers, today’s post is for you! I’m sharing four spring outfits with Hunter boots using these CUTE grey Hunter boots I found last month. I gravitate towards a lighter color palette in the spring, and I LOVE how the light grey complements that. I also love that these are a little shorter than original Hunter boots and that they have a sleeker sole. They are slightly lighter weight than original Hunter boots, too. They now come in grey, navy, and a bright sea green! Check them out HERE.
I first shared these in last month’s post Four Waterproof Shoes which also included boots, booties, and sneakers that are all waterproof. So awesome! Catch that post HERE.
SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes, 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
1. Bright Colored Sweater + Jeans
First up is a colorful outfit with the color block sweater I shared in my Early Spring Capsule Wardrobe. You can wear this outfit with several shoes, like white slip-on sneakers or lighter colored loafers, but grey Hunter boots are a great option if it’s showering that day! This sweater will keep you warm too!
This sweater is on the thicker side without feeling bulky, and its tighter knit keeps you warmer. It’s perfect for a cooler spring day when you want to wear bright colors but need to stay warm! It also comes in a blue/yellow/white stripe version, and on sale it’s a pretty good deal for how it feels. Check it out HERE. I sized up to M for a more relaxed fit.

2. Sweatshirt + Black Jeans + Denim Jacket
While this outfit can be worn with white slip-on sneakers too, this is another option if you need rain boots. Hunters are great in casual looks with sweatshirts!
This sweatshirt is another piece from my Early Spring Capsule Wardrobe. It’s lighter weight, so layering it with a jacket is helpful. I paired it with black jeans and a denim jacket above. This sweatshirt also looks great with blue jeans as seen HERE.

3. Light Colored Sweater + Jeans
Keeping with a neutral palette, here are the boots with a cream colored sweater. The cream one from Old Navy that I reviewed a couple of weeks ago (in THIS post) would also work great for an even more relaxed vibe. I didn’t have that one yet when we shot these pics or else I would have shown it! 🙂

4. Colorful Sweatshirt + Jeans
Last, another sweatshirt look, but with a colorful one instead. Easy peasy! You can wear Hunter boots with lots of outfits, actually. Especially this grey pair!

Overall, keeping the look casual with jeans and a sweater or sweatshirt makes a very easy pairing. These would be REALLY cute with a skirt or springy dress, too. I didn’t show that though, because when it rains where I live, I’m not warm enough in a dress or skirt. I’d rather bundle up in a sweater or sweatshirt! 😁
