Small Victories

Thank you for your encouraging comments after my griping about maternity clothes.  I needed some encouragement, fo sho.  I know this outfit is very “normal” but that’s exactly why I felt awesome in it.  After I griped, I stopped by Old Navy after grocery shopping, since it’s dangerously right next to Trader Joe’s, but I went with low expectations.  I’d been there just days before…and days before that again (we were going through produce really quickly this week…) and kept coming up short.  But thank God on this particular trip I either got lucky and caught a new stock…lowered my standards.  Whatever the case, it don’t matta because I came away with a few tops and a sigh of relief.
AND somehow these jeans that stopped fitting somewhere in the 2nd trimester decided to be kind to me yesterday.  Weird how that works, but I’ll take what I can get.  Small victories, people.
I wore this top two days in a row.  Wait, no.  As you’re reading this, I’m wearing it for day three (with TOMs instead) while off to another retreat for work to that pseudo campground once again.  I’ll catch ya later, full of dirt in my hair and sand in my clothes.  Don’t worry, I’ll gladly share.  You can thank me later.
Three similar non-maternity top options, but all different prints as listed below.
