Shopping Help: Target in the Spring

Sorry if you’re not a Target shopper, but I was back there running errands and even more stuff caught my eye!  I know most of you are still battling ridiculous cold fronts so these clothes are either a welcome escape into spring fantasy land or an invitation back to a dreadful reality.  Either way, you’re all invited to San Diego to enjoy the sun 😀

Option 1 – I walked by this and made a mental note–it’s a great option for the striped ponte pencil skirt I own.  The longer I have my striped ponte pencil skirt the more appreciation I have for it.  It’s incredibly versatile and comfortable.

Option 2 – I made a mental note of this one too as a cute alternative to the floral pencil skirt I was so lucky to score from Conversation Pieces last year.  Since there are so many colors in it, you can pair it with lots of different tops, cardigans, and blazers.  You can even pair it with (what I just learned from you guys is) Pantone’s color of the year, Radiant Orchid.  Not to mention yellows, oranges, greens, teals, and neutrals!

Option 3 – This is great for a casual day of errands, especially in the spring.  Pairs easily with a black or white tee, denim jacket, and sandals.  I’m sure you could also find ways to dress it up!

Option 4 – I showed this one before, but I wanted to give an update.  It’s SO COMFY!  But as suspected, the material shrinks a little in the wash–even hand washed in cold water and air dried.  In store the Medium fit me perfectly and the Large was a little big, but after washing the Large fit better.  Comes in lots of different colors.

Option 5 – I’ve also shown this before, but I ordered it just to try based on some of your recommendations.  I love it!  I’m normally a 6 in Target blazers (between 6-8 but sometimes on a rare day 4 at H&M) but this one fits perfectly in sz 4, so try sizing down.

Option 6 – Super similar to the Forever 21 jacket I own.  If you’ve been looking for one, scoop it up while you can!  Also comes in black.

Option 7 – Striped blazer–I showed a darker striped blazer recently, but I really like light white/grey stripes too!

Option 8 – I’ve been looking for a plain, grey dress, and this one is adorable with its pleating at the neck and waist.  I’m not sure how the waist pleating will look on me (usually not good), but there’s only one way to tell, so I’ll be ordering it soon.  Also comes in navy.

Option 9 – Similar to Option 8, but has darting at the bust.  Also might be more fit and flare than I’m looking for, but again, there’s only one way to tell.  Comes in a few different colors.

Option 10 – Fantastic springy dress!  I think it’d be great for Easter paired with a yellow, green, purple, or orange cardigan.  It’d also be great for brunches or bridal or baby showers.  I’m not sure how casual you could make this, but it’d be really cute with a denim jacket.

Option 11 – This is a springy dress that would flow better from parties to everyday casual wear.  It’d also transition well from spring to fall with tights, boots, and cardigans.  I think a mustard cardigan would be adorable with this!
