Remix Your Wardrobe With White Bottoms + My Favorite White Jeans + This Blush Top is Almost Back

black jeans versus white jeans

Did you notice that the top half of these two outfits is almost exactly the same?  I put both of these outfits in the PMT Style Challenge–the left side was in the winter challenge and the right side was used in the current spring challenge.  (If you participated in both the winter challenge and the spring challenge, did you even notice?  ;P)
I’ve talked since forever about the importance of having colored bottoms in your closet, and this is a great example.  In this case, I love how the simple swap from black to white jeans lightened up the entire look and gave it that fresh springy feel!

(If you’re new around here, I wrote a whole post HERE about how adding just ONE pair of pants, jeans, shorts, or a skirt in a color other than regular blue jeans will multiply your outfit options.  Go read that post if you need some convincing!)

Because many new readers have come along in just the last few days, I wanna talk about these jeans again.  I’ve had them for a year and I’m glad they’re back in stock this year.  I don’t have problems with them being too thin or see-through.  However, I wear nude colored underwear with them just in case and probably would never wear them with brightly colored underwear.  They are soft and have stretch to them, so I find them very comfortable!  They don’t stretch out much after several wears–and yes, I manage to make my white jeans last through multiple wears without having to wash them somehow!
My friend had tried several pairs in a desperate search for white jeans for the PMT Style Challenge with no luck.  She complained that they were all too thin and see-through.  She knew I’d been talking about these LOFT jeans forever but for whatever reason hadn’t tried them.  Lucky for her, she visited me a few weeks ago, and I had a brand new pair in her size that I missed the return window on from last year.  She put them on and was like, “OH. MY. GOSH.  These aren’t thin!  These aren’t see through!  I know you’ve been talking about them a lot, but EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THESE!”  Her words, not mine!
I know they don’t work for EVERYONE.  All body shapes are different!  But if you’ve been searching for white jeans and have not at least TRIED these yet, then give them a shot!  ðŸ™‚  They also come in a Curvy Fit.
I am 5’6″ and normally size 6/8 and got these in size 28P.  The petite length hits right at my ankles as shown above.
Lastly, this blush blouse has been unavailable for years, but other super similar colors are currently available!  Find the top HERE, and I think Lilac or Grey are close matches, at least online!  I’m normally size S/M and wear this in M even though it is oversized.  The S didn’t quite fit my shoulders.  It’s super long, so I always do a half-tuck as shown above, and because of how it drapes and how long it is, the half-tucks works beautifully and doesn’t poof out strangely from the sideview.  It says “dry clean only” but I never do.  I’ve hand washed and air dried, but I’ve also accidentally machine washed and air dried several times and have not had one single problem.  Others have told me they have this top for years and machine wash AND machine dry and they still look new.
