Purple on Purple

I’ve reached that point in pregnancy where my belly’s not full enough for most maternity clothes, but I’m definitely feeling the limitations of my current wardrobe.  Tunics and flowy tops have been great, but still limited compared to what I’m used to having access to.  So I’ve been repeating outfits, including current ones like stripes/white blazer/distressed maternity jeans and going back to really, really old ones, like today’s (from ~1.5 yrs ago), that are comfortable for a little baby bump.  Is that against style blogger rules?  Oh well, cuz it be happening.
Is it also against style blogger rules to be really matchy-matchy?  Cuz that be happening too.  I don’t mind it as much in accessories (like…how ALL of my accessories are cognac all day everyday), but I usually wouldn’t put, say, a blue dress with a blue cardigan.  For some reason I love the purple on purple here.  Enough to repeat it–and repeat blog it.  (Double blog?! Oh my gosh!!!)  I think I don’t mind the matching here because the dress is printed which helps to break up the colors.  Or maybe I’m just trying to find any excuse to convince myself that it works.  ðŸ™‚  Do you lean towards matching colors in your outfit or do you prefer contrasting colors?
