YOU GUYS. You know how we love Target? (And by “we” I mean “I” but I try to make myself feel better by assuming it’s a collective obsession.) Well, we have reason to love Target even more. Right now, if you buy People StyleWatch and InStyle magazine together at Target you get a $5 Target gift card. Get $5 to my favorite store when getting my two favorite style magazines? Um, no-brainer.
The outfit I’m wearing above is inspired by InStyle. They talked about different ways to pair bright red this season, and initially I skipped it over thinking I wouldn’t use it because I don’t own much cardinal red. However, when I saw the outfit below with the red flats I knew I could make it work for me. I loved the idea of doing a simple grey tee with olive skinnies and cherry red flats! I don’t have a jacket like the one they showed, and I tend to be more casual than that anyway. So I opted for my denim jacket to run errands in, as well as my Target satchel to finish off the look. I don’t know that I would have done olive skinnies with cherry red flats, but I LOVE the pop it gives the outfit!
As for People StyleWatch, I absolutely love it. The looks they show are totally me, like like the one above on the right with the plaid shirt, sweater, and ankle boots. Right up my alley! I also loooove their “Look for Less” features where they show a celebrity outfit and tell you where to find similar pieces for a lot, lot, LOT less.
If you’ve never read these magazines but have wanted to try one of them, that $5 gift card you get for buying them together basically covers the cost of one magazine. In other words, buying them together allows you to try one for free! InStyle and People StyleWatch are the only two magazines I subscribe to, so I highly recommend checking them out. I always take one of them with me when I’m traveling!
