Stylish & Comfy Outfits for Working From Home

Stylish & Comfy Outfits for Working From Home

Today I’m sharing some of my favorite recent spring outfits! I spend most of my days working from home, with school pickups and sports drop-offs being the most I’m out on a regular day. (Such an exciting life, I know! 😆) My lifestyle is very casual, but I put effort into my style so I feel confident. Yet, you know me – I definitely want to be comfortable, too. So, here are some of my recent favorite stylish and comfy outfits for working from home and for chauffeuring kids around!

SIZING: I’m 5’6” and usually S/M or 6 in clothes and 8.5 to 9 in shoes

black tee + olive green pants + tan sandals + gold necklace

1. Olive Wide Leg Chinos + Black Tee
This is one of my favorite outfits from last spring and summer, and it continues to be a favorite this year. It’s so simple, but I love the quality of this black tee and how it makes every outfit look better. Find it HERE. I wear size M.

These olive green pants are just too easy to wear! They’re lightweight, flexible with stretch, and comfy! I recently shared 6 ways to wear these olive green pants, so check that blog post (HERE) for more ideas. Find the pants in straight, plus, petite, and tall sizing HERE. I wear size 4 as I find these run quite big.

In warmer months, I wear this outfit with sandals, as shown in the photo above. Otherwise, I pair it with my lifestyle sneakers, and I love how the black on the back of my sneakers echoes the black top.

Shop the Outfit:
Top: Madewell (exact–wearing size M)
Pants: Old Navy (exact–wearing size 4)
Sandals: Amazon (similar)
Necklace: Nordstrom (exactnearly identical—but way more affordable!)

graphic tee + tan jacket + wide leg jeans + white sneakers + gold earrings + gold necklace

2. Wide Leg Jeans + Graphic Print Tee + Crop Jacket
A super-duper casual outfit, but make it cool with stylish pieces. One of the keys to stylish and comfy outfits to work from home in is comfortable pants, and these jeans are SUPER-DUPER COMFORTABLE!! A PMTer once said the phrase “butter pajamas” to describe how these jeans feel, and I can’t get it out of my head. These are so dang comfy! Soooo soft, incredibly stretchy, and do not lose their shape. Grab them HERE. I wear size 4.

I love a cool graphic tee to add personality and character to an outfit. This was a gift from a friend, and I love it! Find it HERE. I wear size S.

For a layer, I’m wearing my short bomber jacket from Kohl’s. I’ve shown it in olive green several times on the blog, but I wear this tan one quite a bit in “real” life. It’s lightweight and has a laid-back casual style. Comes in 3 colors, HERE. One note is I don’t think the black one is as lightweight as the other two colors. I wear this in size S.

Finish off this look with updated lifestyle sneakers. I own these sneakers in two colorways. The footbed is cushioned, and there’s a tiny little wedge that you don’t really notice, yet it helps to extend your leg line. Love these shoes! Find them HERE. I wear size 8.5. There is also an identical dupe for way less, HERE, though I don’t know about its quality or comfort.

Shop the Outfit:
Top: Upper Park (exact–wearing size S)
Jeans: Nordstrom (exact–wearing size 4)
Jacket: Kohl’s (exact–wearing size S)
Shoes: Nordstrom (exact–wearing size 8.5)
Earrings: Amazon (exactwearing 30mm)
Necklace: Nordstrom (

white and black striped tee + black pants + denim jacket + white sneakers + gold earrings + gold necklace

3. Black Wide Leg Pants + Striped Tee + Denim Jacket
I wear this outfit often because it’s so easy and comfy, and it’s casual but stylish. These pants are SO GOOD for stylish casual outfits for working from home. They are some of my go-to pants — I love them so much! They are really lightweight, soft, flowy, and comfortable but are stylish with the high waist and buttons. Add a striped tee because it gives the outfit more visual interest than a plain tee, and boom, an easy, comfortable, stylish, casual outfit!

These sneakers have been my go-tos for nearly the last year. You can find them in several colorways HERE. I wear size 8.5. And you can find a dupe for even less, HERE!

Shop the Outfit:
Top: GAP (exact–wearing size S)
Pants: Kohl’s (exact–wearing size 6)
Jacket: Kohl’s (exact–wearing size S)
Shoes: Nordstrom (exact–wearing size 8.5)
Earrings: Amazon (exactwearing 30mm)
Necklace: Nordstrom (

olive green utility blouse + black wide leg pants + tan flats + gold earrings + gold necklace

4. Black Wide Leg Pants + Olive Utility Blouse
I love this nicer casual outfit because it’s polished but comfy, and it still looks pretty relaxed!

These pants are the same as in the outfit above, just dressed up with a blouse and flats instead of a tee and sneakers. They are truly so versatile!

As for the blouse, I love how utility blouses have pockets that add visual interest that isn’t frilly, poofy, or ruffly. This one has a relaxed fit, too, and when paired with flowy wide leg pants, you get a polished outfit that still looks easygoing.

You can find the utility blouse HERE. I wear size XS as this runs quite large.

Shop the Outfit:
Top: LOFT (exact–wearing size XS)
Pants: Kohl’s (exact–wearing size 6)
Shoes: Amazon (similar)
Earrings: Amazon (exactwearing 30mm)
Necklace: Nordstrom (
exactnearly identicalbut way more affordable!)

white and tan striped button up shirt + cropped denim jeans + tan flats + gold necklace + gold earrings

5. Kick Flare Jeans + Tan/White Stripe Button Up
This is another nicer casual outfit that feels low key enough for my very exciting days of school pickup and chauffeuring to sports. 😆

I really like the wash of these jeans, and they’re soft and comfy with some stretch but also make you feel supported and held-in. This exact pair is currently sold out, but it did fully get restocked once before, so check back every once in a while to see if your size is available, HERE. In the meantime, you can find the same style in a different wash, HERE. I wear size 28.

This top is really lightweight and reminds me of Madewell’s style but is sooo much more affordable at just $24. I wear a nude-colored camisole under it. Find the top in two colors HERE. I wear size S.

Shop the Outfit:
Top: Nordstrom Rack (exact–wearing size S)
Jeans: Nordstrom (similar)
Shoes: Amazon (similar)
Earrings: Amazon (exactwearing 30mm)
Necklace: Nordstrom (
exactnearly identicalbut way more affordable!)

Those are 5 stylish and comfy outfits for working from home that I’ve been loving and wearing on repeat lately. I feel comfortable, able to sit all day thanks to comfortable pants with stretch. And, I feel polished and pulled together for a very casual lifestyle, without feeling overdressed. I hope this helps give you some ideas for your own casual style!
