I’ve talked about this “butter top” before, but since buying it a few months ago it has become one of my favorite tops to wear! It’s SO. STINKING. COMFORTABLE! Hence the name “butter” top. It’s really, really soft and even a bit fuzzy in a great way. It’s much thicker than a typical long sleeve top–almost like a super thin fleece. Almost.
I announced last week on my Facebook page that this top in maroon and olive were 33% off, making them only $28. Unfortunately they flew off the shelves and sold out! Anyway, if you have this top, here is a little remix with it! Usually when I do remixes, I try to style distinct outfits using different colored bottoms and varying the accessories, shoes, and completer pieces a lot. This remix is not like that. Today’s looks are just ways I’ve worn the top that happened to have gotten photographed. Therefore the looks are not as distinct from each other as my typical remixes. Like, the bottom halves of most of them use the same jeans because I wore these outfits with a growing baby belly and these were some of the only jeans that fit, haha! Still fun to see a few ways you could wear this top though!
P.S. This is a “swing” shape, so if you need tops with more structure, PASS on this! But if you can do the loose flowy thing, definitely try this out!
First up is with a mustard scarf. If you ever wonder what colors to pair maroon with besides a bunch of neutrals, GO MUSTARD!!! It’s sooo pretty against maroon, especially combined with navy or dark blue.

A printed scarf can bring to life a solid top like this, and while there are tons of prints to choose from (polka dots, stripes, florals, zig zags, etc.) I especially love maroon with leopard print!
This scarf is a gorgeous and fairly affordable leopard print option. I loooove that the brown background is on the lighter side, and I also love that the print is large. It’s so sophisticated looking, and it’ll transition really well into the spring.

I put together this outfit for a post a while back and then wore it for errands that weekend. This top is so comfy and easy to wear, and I love that it can be dressed up a little with heeled boots/booties or dressed down like in this outfit with sneakers.

I also wore it for our family photos as I knew the color would work well with our background and the other colors my family was wearing. I wore it with and without the plaid scarf. Like I said, this top is easy to throw a printed scarf on top of, and I loved it with the plaid!
