Instagram Roundup #18 + Olive Sweater is $23!

Time for another Instagram roundup!  I post many outfits on Instagram that may never make it to the blog, so I do these roundups to catch you up on all the deals and steals I’m posting over there.  If you’re not following on IG, you can see the latest IG posts from the blog in real time through the widget over to the right.  The “Instagram Lately” is an up-to-date feed of my latest IG posts, and you can shop them by clicking on the pic!
First up is a huge PSA: This sweater is 40% off making it about $23!!!  I have it in both olive and black and have been wearing them a TON.  Let me warn you that it’s not the best quality, and you will need to take a sweater shaver to it.  But I really like the fit and the color, though if you have long arms this might not be great for you.  I rolled my sleeves up to show the stripes, so don’t judge the sleeve length based on my pictures, but just know that they barely fit me perfectly.

If you need a longer one, both in arms and torso, try THIS ONE.

For sizing reference I’m 5’6″, normally S/M or 6/8 and wear this in M.

Here’s the sweater again but with a statement necklace and some leopard print for a bit dressier look.  I love how easy to wear this sweater is.  Also, if you haven’t done olive + turquoise, give it a try!  I love it and think it’s such a fun color pairing.
This leopard print clutch is my go-to’s for dressing up a look.  It’s available HERE (search “Amy Clutch), but I also found a similar one that’s a little cheaper HERE.

The PMT Style Challenge (HERE) and all the women doing the challenge together inspired me to wear this pajama dress like this–and I love it!  If you’re not part of the challenge, it’s not too late to sign up.  We’re only in week 2!  You’ll not only get 45 outfits from just a few pieces of clothes, but you’ll get access to the members-only Facebook group, and it is SO FUN!  So many great ideas and variations of the outfits are there.  It’s by far my favorite part of the whole experience, and I don’t even like Facebook!  (Sign up and join us HERE.)
Anyway, this dress is sold out in most sizes but is available in a ton of other sizes in other colors.  Soooooooo many of you have told me you got the dress and looooove it for its comfort.  I wear this in M.

Here’s another look at the outfit I wore way back for Christmas Eve.  I was singing at church, and because of monitor packs needing to be clipped onto your clothing and blah blah blah I can’t wear dresses whenever I sing.  #femaleproblems  But, this cute slash chic outfit made me less sad about it! 🙂
This top is sold out in navy but I’ll link it because you can ask for it to come back in stock (HERE).  However, it’s still available in black HERE.   I wear Large as I find the sleeves a little tight and this top doesn’t have much stretch.

This is another outfit from the PMT Style Challenge.  I love mixing neutrals with a pop of color.  A lot of you have told me you don’t like mustard yellow next to your face, but you could do this look with any bright colored scarf.  Personally I’d recommend a bolder color like red, orange, or green to “lift” the outfit and help the whole thing pop.

If you feel too puffy in a vest plus a chunky scarf, try a scarf that isn’t wrapped as tightly around your neck, and/or try quilted vests since they tend to lay a little flatter than puffer vests.

Stripes, jeans, and a tan moto jacket.  I’ve been wearing this combo for YEARS.  While I’ve updated my striped tees and jeans over the years, I’ve been wearing this exact jacket for all those years–5 years to be specific.  It was such a great find at Forever 21, but it finally died and became unwearable.  Still trying to hold in the tears!  🙁  I’m on the hunt for a replacement and have had 2/5 arrive so far.  You can bet I’ll do a review once they all come in!
