Instagram Outfits Roundup #4

Dude, you guys.  Traveling often takes a toll on my sanity!  I just got back from a week long retreat with a bunch of college students, and just 2 weeks prior to that I was at a conference for another week.  For the last month and a half prior to, between, and after those two trips I’ve either been preparing to be gone, catching up from being gone, or preparing to be gone again.  As Addie’s gotten older it’s been getting harder and harder to leave my family, especially for more than 3-4 days at a time.  That’s about when our whole family starts to get antsy.

And THEN, there’s this blog.  I have SO MANY THINGS I want to write about (more one piece many ways remixes, more style tips, wardrobe building help, answering more Q&A, and a post on drugstore makeup, to name a few), but they are patiently waiting.  Thanks for your patience too, everyone!

That said, I *have been* getting dressed.  I’ve been repeating outfits a ton, which is fantastic for freeing up mental clutter, but it doesn’t make for great blogging.  ðŸ˜›
Here are a few outfits I’ve posted on Instagram over the last month that haven’t made the blog yet (and may never).  If you aren’t yet, follow along on Instagram HERE.  And Snapchat @audreyPMT, though that’s mostly snaps of Addie.  ðŸ™‚  Onto the outfits!
It went from shorts weather to rainy and windy overnight.  The bright side is that I’ve had this outfit in mind to wear for quite a while.  I thought the window had passed, but I finally got to wear it!  I kinda missed my vests.  ðŸ™‚

Shop for the Look:
Top: ModCloth (exact)
Vest: Old Navy (exact, but this color sold out, similar)
Jeans: Paige Denim via Nordstrom (similar)
Boots: c/o Clarks via Zappos (exact)
Bag: Nordstrom (exact)
Necklace: c/o Dear Mushka (exact)
Watch: c/o JORD (exact)
This is one of my default outfits to drop off Addie at daycare.  I don’t think I’ll ever, ever, ever get sick of basics!  Also, my go-to shoes used to be my tan flats, but 1) they’re dying and I’m looking for a replacement.  And 2) my white sneakers may have replaced them for most circumstances.  I love how they freshen up a lost of my outfits.
This exact pair is pretty much sold out everywhere, but there’s finally an updated version.  Mine are perforated, but the new one is a subtle snakeskin that comes in white, grey, and black.  I have the black pair, and while they’re not as comfy as this pair right off the bat, I wouldn’t hesitate to walk in them all day.  If snakeskin worries you, it’s really subtle and really just adds a nice texture.  Also, if white shoes worry you, these are not cloth shoes so besides the rubber sole they wipe clean pretty easily.  That is, speaking for the perforated pair I own and the black pair of snakeskin print.  Both are linked below.

This outfit will be on the blog soon with a discount code and a giveaway, so stay tuned!
I wore this for Easter, needing to wear pants to hold my mic/monitor pack while singing at church.  Thus is the struggle for women musicians–it can be awkward to attach that thing to a dress!
I use my black bucket bag quite often and found myself wishing I had a cognac one too.  Because I’m obsessed with cognac, if that isn’t already apparent.  (And it’s one of my wardrobe neutrals.)  I use my tote, seen in the other pics here, when I need to carry my laptop, papers, or a notebook.  But sometimes when I go out for a quick errand and need to bring Addie I love having a cross body bag that can hold my water bottle and essentials, but not much more.  I’ve eyed this one for a long time, and it’s been in and out of stock.  Finally it went on sale for 40% off so I ordered it just to see what it’s like in person.  I decided to keep it and have only used this bag like 5-7 times so far, but so far so good!

Shop for the Look:
Top: c/o White Plum (discount code + giveaway coming later this week!)
Jeans: Old Navy (almost exact, similar–currently 40% off)
Shoes: H&M (similar, similar)
Bag: Sole Society via Nordstrom (exact–currently 20% off)
Watch: c/o JORD (exact)

I think I got this dress toward the end of a season so I didn’t get to wear it much.  Whenever I did, it was basically like this sans jacket and necklace.  Just some white sneakers!

Shop for the Look:
Dress: Old Navy (similar, similar, similar)
Jacket: Old Navy (similar Targetsimilar H&M)
Shoes: Zappos (exactsimilar)
Bag: Nordstrom (exact)
Necklace: c/o That’s Mine Boutique (exact)

I’ll post this soon too.  I got this dress towards the end of last summer (I think?) and it’s still in stock.  I loved pairing it with cognac everything.  ðŸ˜€

Shop for the Look:
Dress: Nordstrom (exact)
Jacket: Forever 21
Bag: Nordstrom (exact)
Sandals: Target (similar color, similar style)
Necklace: c/o Dear Mushka (exact)
This top has seen these jeans way too often this month.  Sometimes they’re paired with ankle boots and a grandpa sweater while other times it’s with sandals.  Our weather is fickle, but often one layer and closed toed shoes will do the trick.

Shop for the Look:
Top: Nordstrom (exact)
Jeans: Lucky Brand via Nordstrom (exact)
Shoes: UGG via Nordstrom (exact, reviewed HERE)
Necklace: c/o Dear Mushka (exact)

I hope you all enjoyed Easter weekend!
