Woohoo, it’s Friday! And the PMT Fall Challenge is right around the corner! I can feel the shift of energy in the air…even though literally the air where I live will be 80 degrees next week. Whomp whomp. Nonetheless, I placed an order for fall clothes / the challenge that’s gotten me really excited for fall and that I’m hoping will work out! (See more below.)
But before that, what I’ve been wearing lately.
One morning I woke up at 3:45a for no reason and couldn’t go back to sleep, so I was a zombie. I was sooo glad I was working from home that day because I got to stay in these joggers that I had slept in and threw on my favorite grey tee. (Leftover curls from the day before FTW!)
My joggers are from last year, but an updated version recently came back in. I went to the store to check them out, and the sizing is different but mostly it’s the same. I don’t have good luck with joggers (usually make me look really wide at the hips because of the tapered legs), but after reading all the reviews from last year I *had to* try them. I was shocked that I found them so flattering! These are not super thick, FYI.
I was asked if the knees and butt get droopy. Yes to the knees, thought you can’t tell from the front in this picture–the knees are a little droopy from wear. The butt kinda does, but I think I have enough to fill it out that it’s not as noticeable, haha! Anyway, they come in 3 colors HERE.

This is a modification of one of the outfits from the White Lush Tunic Remix from last week. I personally like this version better with the richer tan cardigan. Gonna be one of my go-to fall outfits when I need to look a little more work appropriate…and once it cools again. (We’ve had a nice week of the low 70s, but it’s back up to mid 80s next week. *crying emoji*)

Fall colors, but with a t-shirt and sandals, and slinking by hoping to get away with jeans in air conditioned spaces. Ha! Whatevs, it worked. 😛

Favorite grey tee again! Did you see my post on 5 Tops That Will Make You Look Effortlessly Put Together? This tee was one of them, but I showed it in olive. Grey is really my go-to though, and this outfit is what I grab when I need to drop off Addie at daycare really quickly. Usually paired with a utility jacket in the spring and fall.

There’s some good stuff happening this weekend, peeps! Nordstrom’s running Triple Points until Sunday, LOFT’s got 40% off, and Old Navy and J.Crew Factory are doing some of their routine sales. Below are Nordstrom and LOFT stuff that I purchased to try.
Everything works for the Fall Challenge except the maroon cardigan, but I wanted to highlight that one because I know a bunch of you are looking for an oversized maroon cardigan like that!
I tried the maroon lace top on in store and thought it looked so sophisticated, so FALL, but not too stuffy–totally wearable for an everyday put together casual look. I fit size small the best. For the black cardigan, I have it in several other colors in XS, so that’s what I ordered this time. I really hope the navy bell sleeve top and marigold printed top work because they’re sooooo cute! If you’re not into yellow, try the burnt orange top below!
