My Closet Sale via Square Cash

Not long ago I told you I removed a bunch of clothes from my closet that weren’t getting the love they deserved.  Today I’ve listed a few of them for sale if anyone’s interested!

In the past I’ve sold through an external marketplace (Storenvy) and while I loved that interface, it was a little too involved for what I was doing.  This time I’m trying an alternative solution, which is listing the items here and partnering with Square Cash to do the transactions.

How It’ll Work:

  1. See an item you like?  Comment below OR email me at [email protected] with item numbers/description AND your email address.
  2. First come first serve.  If the item is already sold, I’ll let you know.  And I’ll cross them out on the listing as soon as I can.
  3. Once you receive a confirmation from me, payments will be made through Square Cash.  (It’s ridiculously easy, don’t worry!) Payments need to be made within 24 hours or the item will be available again to others.
  4. I’ll get your mailing address, calculate shipping rounded to the nearest dollar, and add shipping costs to your total.  In the past with Storenvy I standardized shipping and overcharged just in case.  With Square Cash I don’t have to!  🙂
Payments through Square Cash
If you’re not familiar with Square Cash, you need to get familiar ASAP!  Benson and I have been using it for 1.5 years and it’s amazing.  You hook Square Cash up to your debit card (takes less than 1 minute) and then you can send your friends money via email or typing in the amount on the Square Cash app.  (Available for iOS or Anroid.)  It’s so easy that it feels equivalent to texting “$20” to your friend.
We love it SO much because when we’re eating out with friends and the bill comes, instead of everyone worrying about having enough cash or writing individual credit card numbers and amounts owed on the back of the receipt, one person pays with their credit card and the rest of us “text” them our share of the bill via Square Cash right then and there.  And then, voila!  The money is in your bank account.  When we pay babysitters, we use Square Cash too.  When a bunch of friends pool together to buy a birthday gift for a friend, we use Square Cash.  It’s made life so easy!

Also, Square Cash is totally FREE and doesn’t even take transaction fees for personal use.  Can you see why Benson and I are huge fans?

Anyway, I digress.  The clothes!  Here are some of the items I removed from my closet.  Not gonna lie, as I was going through them I was like, “Why am I getting rid of these again?” I still like many of them, but they weren’t getting enough love from me.  Hopefully some of you will love them better than I did!
