WHAT IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
The much anticipated Nordstrom Anniversary Sale begins next week! If you’re wondering what the heck this sale is about, rather than typical sales where past-season items are marked down, this is the one time of the year Nordstrom marks down BRAND NEW arrivals. You can get the best stuff at the best prices!
IMPORTANT SALE DATES:
July 13th – Early Access begins for Nordstrom cardholders only

HOW CAN I SHOP THIS SALE THE SMART WAY?
Make a list. The sale can be overwhelming, so get focused with a game plan and a list. It’ll help you make better purchasing decisions too!
Shop Early Access. Did you know the sale opens 1 week earlier to everyone who has a Nordstrom card? Items and sizes sell out FAST, so shopping early is totally worth it. Nordstrom has three options for enrolling in the Nordstrom Rewards program–two credit card options, and a Rewards Membership option where you pay with cash, check, or another credit card. However, I’m unsure if Rewards Members (non-credit card) get Early Access to the sale. I asked online and the customer support said yes, but another friend called and they said no. I’d encourage you to call or chat with them online from their website yourself if you want a non-credit card option!
You can get a $20 Nordstrom credit if you sign up for a card and get approved before this Sunday, July 9th! Read about all the Nordstrom Rewards program HERE under “Program Overview” different card options HERE, and get early access to the sale!
Shop online. Crowds are crazy. Your size may not be available in store. Some items aren’t even sold in store and are online-only. It’s madness. And, shipping and return shipping is always free, so ordering online from the comfort of your home in your pajamas is the WAY TO GO! Also, buy multiple sizes!!!! Items run out fast, and your size might not be available by the time you want to exchange. Buy two sizes and send back–for free–the size that doesn’t work. WHAT SHOULD BE ON MY SHOPPING LIST?
Think fall clothes, since this sale is for new arrivals for the coming season. Typically for this sale I love shopping boots, ankle boots, jeans, bags, and tops. I also have my eye on my favorite Natori bra that I know is going on sale (see it HERE), activewear, and makeup. You could also add home decor, men’s clothes, kid’s clothing to your lists, and Christmas gifts to your list!)

Get Early Access! I said it earlier, but really the best stuff sells out so fast and often isn’t available by the time the sale is open to the public.
