My kids are all-in when it comes to the holidays, and as they get older, they want to do more and more to soak up the season as much as they can. I feel like I’m getting better at prepping for the holidays further in advance, which really makes the times that we are actually celebrating much more peaceful. Today I’m partnering with JCPenney and ShopStyle Collective to help you prep for the holidays so that you can actually enjoy them, too!

You can shop in store or online, and if you shop online you can also utilize JCPenney’s in-store or curbside pickup to make your holiday shopping even more convenient. Let’s start with holiday prep! Whether you are hosting folks, traveling somewhere, or simply want to provide kids with a few fun activities that lead up to the holidays, there are lots of things to prepare for.
My kids would love to do any and every holiday activity possible. The LEGO Advent Calendar, wood ornament decorating kit, and indoor snowball set provide fun and memorable things for the kids to do! The kids also have a lot of fun with the s’mores maker—it’s way easier for little kids to navigate than a real fire.

JCPenney has LOTS of gifts for kids, and I like to browse all of their toys to find things I would never have thought to search for on my own!
On top of the toys, the hooded packable puffer jacket would be a great gift. It comes in a huge range of sizes and several colors. The polar bear slippers for toddlers and slippers for kids are adorable, too! And the fuzzy knit jacket is a steal during the Black Friday deals!
The light up bean bag toss game is also one to check out! We have a regular bean bag set, but once it gets dark, it is harder to play. A light up one would be so much fun for the kids.
