I once wrote a post called Changing Styles with the Bottom Half HERE, and today is another example of how you can change or freshen up a look just by changing your pants.  Almost exactly a year ago I posted almost this exact outfit just with black jeans.  See it HERE.   While I repeated the outfit with black jeans recently, shortly after I was like, “Hmm, what would it look like with white jeans?”  To me, that one little change freshened up the whole look!  And let’s face it, I tend to think white jeans freshen up most looks!
I’ve heard many people gripe about how hard it is to find white jeans that aren’t see-through, usually noting how you can see the line of the pockets and how that indicates you can probably see more on the rear.  I’m wearing a pair from LOFT that I’ve had for about two years.  I can’t see the pockets, and with nude underwear (just to be safe) I’m never, ever, ever worried about these being see through.  They feel thick and supportive enough while being stretchy and soft.
This cut is still available since it’s a LOFT standard.  However, mine are 2 years old, so I’m not 100% certain this year’s are exactly the same.  But if you are looking for white jeans, I would recommend trying these as a good starting place.  They can be found HERE, but they also come in a curvy fit HERE.  I am 5’6″ but got them in petite to make them ankle length.  I’m normally size 6/8 and got these in size 28/6P.  Wait for one of LOFT’s many sales and these will be pretty decently priced!
Also, if anyone’s looking for a utility jacket, I linked to 3 that are between $25 – $42.
