WEEKEND! I’m more excited than normal about weekends because 1) I actually get to be home instead of being on an airplane and 2) I’m on a sabbatical for the next few months from leading worship at church, which means I have about 11+ hours freed up on my weekends. Whaaaat? Yes. Yes yes yes. Time to go wild.
With my new free weekends I’m taking care of house projects that have been nagging me for years. YEARS. Like that enormous blank wall above our bed that I’ve been meaning to find artwork for. Or buying fabric like this and finally reorganizing my jewelry storage. I know, it’s a glamorous life I live. If weekends at Ikea and fabric stores doesn’t say “living it up,” I don’t know what does.
