Happy Valentine’s Day! Despite the outfits you’ve seen here earlier this week, I actually spent the last few days in the snowy mountains. Because of that, I don’t have a Valentine’s Day outfit to show you, but confession? Even if I wasn’t in the mountains I probably wouldn’t have one for ya because I’m just not that festive.
Confession #2: in the Building a Remixable Wardrobe Series I talked about how I was in a jeans and cute top rut, and while I think I got out of it for a bit, I may have just replaced it with a rotation of colored denim and a cute top instead. Ha, fooled us all! Myself included. There’s a whole section of dresses and skirts in my closet that is crying from neglect this season when all it would take to ease their pain are some tights and a cardigan or sweater. Well, in my “cold” weather tights and a cardigan work. If you’re in the -5 then let those dresses cry it out.
Since I’m naive to what it’s like to dress in legitimately cold weather, roughly at what temperature do you guys stop wearing dresses and skirts? (I mean, with tights, not bare legs.) If you wear them year round, what’s your secret?
