Easy Street Style

My soul was so refreshed this weekend!  We invited friends over for ice cream one night and went out for burritos and boba with more friends the next afternoon–some of my very favorite things.  On Sunday Benson stayed home with Addie so that I could go to church, which I totally needed.  And to top it all off, I got to wear JEANS.  For two days straight!  Not just for a quick trip at night when it was cool enough like last time.  😛
Anyone else leaning into neutrals this year?  I thought it was just a particular mood I was in once or twice, writing posts like “How to Make Interesting Outfits with All Neutrals” or “Neutrals vs. Color” but it seems to more of a pattern.  I kinda love ’em right now!

Lastly, I’ve been surprised how much I’ve gravitated towards my black moto jacket over my cognac one since cognac was the clear winner for a looooong time.  I know some of you are worried about looking too “biker-ish” but it helps if you buy jackets with less hardware, like options 1, 5, or 6 below.  However, mine has about as much noticeable hardware as 2, 3, and 6 and I feel like it’s been pretty easy to incorporate it into non “biker-ish,” easy street-style looks.  (Click here to see them.)

I love the black leather jacket – such a classic look but it never goes out of style!

Great friends you have. Who doesn't welcome some time to refresh in icecream & burritos, mmmm. I am still torn on those dang sneakers. Decisions Decisions.

Are you choosing between this pair and another…or just whether or not to get leopard sneakers in general?

Actually sneakers in general. I really like the new pull-ons that are everywhere in a diff colors and textures. I like the black quilted ones and the cheetah print at Target. But I don't know how much wear I will get out of them.

Cute outfit! Just a quick question – did you hem these pants? I like where they stop near your ankle and I feel like skinny jeans are always a bit too long on me. For reference, I'm 5'6. Thanks!

The bag and the shoes tone the jacket down, and make the whole outfit effortless casual.

You're looking great! 🙂 It's so nice when you start to get your confidence up with baby and have more visitors and go more places – the adult interaction is really needed sometimes! 🙂

Love the neutral outfit – neutrals make dressing easy, so it makes sense you're pulled to them when caring for a newborn – simplicity is best 🙂

I didn't hem them, but I rolled them up towards the inside to show my ankle. Otherwise they hit the top of my feet perfectly. I'm 5'6" as well.

You look wonderful in these photos, Audrey! I'm glad last weekend was a good one for you – it sure sounds refreshing and good for the soul 🙂 I am so tempted to pick up those leopard shoes every time I'm at Target – they're so fun!
