Cute Spring Pieces + GIVEAWAY to White Plum ($150 x 2 winners) + 30% Discount Code

Every time we enter a new season I like to update my wardrobe of basics with a few trendier pieces.  It’s nice to not feel like I need a whole new wardrobe each season, but that I can just add a few pieces to help me feel somewhat current!

I’ve said this before, but one of my favorite places to find those kinds of pieces is White Plum.  White Plum has tons and tons and tons to choose from, and they range from very on trend to pieces that are mostly a basic but have a slightly trendy element to them.  And the latter is usually how I like my trends–on the subtler side.  ðŸ™‚

The tops I’m showing today are two pieces that I really think help my closet feel current for spring.  Today I’m not only partnering with White Plum to show them to you, but we’re also hosting a giveaway so that you can freshen up your closet too!

This first top is the kind I referred to earlier that is mostly a basic piece but has a trendy element to it.  For the most part it’s a plain cream blouse.  But THEN, at the bottom is that oh so super duper cute laser cutout.  I don’t know why, but I LOVE laser cutouts!

I went easy with skinny jeans, but because I also love that pop of color I added mint flats.  I’ve missed my mint flats!  For whatever reason I didn’t feel like wearing them last spring, but this might be their year again, at least in my book.

I really love this top and think it’d work really well with trousers and a cardigan for work.  I’d do grey trousers, a mustard or coral or teal cardigan, and brown pumps!

This top comes in cream, blush/coral, and light blue.  I usually wear size 6 in tops and got this in M.

The second outfit was what I wore on Easter.  I wanted to wear pants for ease of where to place my microphone/monitor pack to sing at church, and this top was perfect for it!  I had a similar top to this a couple of years ago that I also paired with white jeans and grey pumps (HERE), so I did it again.  However, I like this top much, much better in all aspects.  Big florals are my kinda florals, the color is really pretty and the fit is somewhat loose around the torso making it easy to wear

I’d also wear it with flared or bootcut jeans and wedges for a more relaxed look.  I’m wearing this in M.  One warning, I steamed it then wore it for a few hours singing and moving around, and it wrinkled mildly.  No big deal.  But then I held Addie against me on and off for the next hour, and after that it had quite a few wrinkles where she was pressed against me.  Thought it was worth mentioning!

30% Discount Code (PMTLOVES30) + Giveaway

White Plum is offering all PMT readers 30% off which is fantastic news!  A lot of pieces from White Plum are SO CUTE but honestly sometimes the prices make me go “eeeek” >_<.  Even though I receive items for free I generally try to choose and showcase pieces that are in a price range that I would actually pay for, and the 30% discount code really helps with that.

Use code PMTLOVES30 for 30% off your order until 4/7!

A few more pieces I thought were notable:

I also have #1 and it’s a great embroidered piece for spring and summer.  Usually those gauzy kind of tops are really lightweight, are kind of crunchy, and just kind of puff out, not holding any shape.  This one is weightier so it actually drapes, and it’s soft!  Plus it’s fully lined which helps weigh the fabric down and hold it’s shape AND helps with not needing to wear a cami.  (However, I haven’t worn it in bright sunlight yet to see how much coverage it provides.)
And even more great news!  TWO of you will win $150 each to White Plum!  Use the widget below to enter the giveaway.  Ends 4/7.  Good luck!

P.S. Do you all prefer multiple winners like this, or would you rather have the prize be 1 winner for $300?
