Who doesn’t love being bundled up in warm, fuzzy goodness this time of year? Give me ALL THE SOFT THINGS, please! Today I’m partnering with Nordstrom to share a cozy holiday outfit with some amazing pieces that will make you want to curl up with a cup of hot chocolate. I’ve also rounded up a bunch of cozy gifts to help you spoil loved ones!
SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or size 6 in clothes, 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
If you’ll be spending time at home during the holidays but want to feel cute and festive, get a pair of printed thermal leggings. Comfy way to be festive! The pair I’m wearing is flattering and comes in 7 super cute prints. There’s a grey/navy version of the heart print pair I’m wearing, but I also I LOVE the Holiday Fair Isle print. They make SUCH cute gifts for others! See all the prints HERE! If you don’t love thermal pants, try one of these cozy-looking printed velour pants!
Pair printed thermal leggings with a fitted neutral long sleeve tee. I find white the easiest, but depending on the print you could go navy, black, or grey. Easy peasy.
Then, add a fleece lined quilted vest for that cozy factor. This vest surprised me, you guys! Sometimes I see items online, have a bit of sticker shock (just being honest!), but see the great reviews and wonder why it’s so amazing. So I order them to try. This vest is more expensive than I tend to pay for vests, but I get it! First of all, it’s reversible. You get this cozy fleece look on one side, or a sleek quilted look on the other side (plus the fleece nice and warm against your body). It’s super lightweight yet quite warm for how light it is! Lighter and warmer than my other vests ?. Then, on the quilted side, there are both upright AND slanted pockets! The upright pockets ensure that important things don’t fall out. And I appreciate the slanted pockets since they’re way more comfortable to rest your hands in. (And you know, if you’re a mom, the more pockets the better!) I have fallen IN LOVE with this thing and am giving it to myself for Christmas, haha! It comes in three colors which you can see HERE. I wear size M and feel it’s true to its sizing chart.
Lastly, cozy socks or fuzzy slippers! These socks the same material as the cult favorite Barefoot Dreams cardigans that people are OBSESSED with! I bought the cardigan for my sister last Christmas, and she loved it so much that she bought two more for herself. Thinking I need to get her a pair of these socks! There’s a similar pair that comes in cute prints and costs much less HERE. However, people say the Barefoot Dreams cardigans wash amazingly well–like you can wash them a million times and they’ll feel like new. I’m assuming that’s true of the socks and maybe worth paying a little more for! Either way, both options have great reviews!
