Hey, hey! Time for another recap of outfits I’ve posted on Instagram and Facebook lately. There are a TON, and they’re full of yellow, navy, stripes, and my denim jacket. But really, are we surprised by this? ? If you need some inspiration for cute, comfy, casual spring outfits, here are a ton of ideas you can copy!
There are some fantastic pieces in these outfits, and most are under $35! YAY YAY YAY, so let’s get to them!
SIZING: I’m 5’6″ and usually S/M or 6 in clothes, 8.5 to 9 in shoes.
One of my current go-to outfits for weekends or casual activities and errands during the week. This $8 comfy tee from Target has not let me down so far! Easy to wear, cute drape, and oh-so-soft and comfy. Get it HERE. I wear size M.

These mustard yellow jeans are still making my dreams come true! Thick, super stretchy, and skinny enough at the ankles to have a streamline look if you want to wear these with booties in the fall. Sizing runs huge. I’m wearing size 4 with LOTS of room to spare. Size 2 fit me better–perfectly–but so perfect that I almost looked like I wasn’t wearing pants. Hahahaa! Stuck with size 4. 😛 Wear them with a grey or white tee, a striped tee like I did here, or a colorful printed top like I’ll show below. Find them HERE.
Paired them with this floral top to dress them up a bit, but there’s a more casual outfit below. Wore this to my husband’s company where they let me crash once a week and work. Nice to get out of the house! 🙂

Was getting asked about these wedges (also shown in yellow below). They are pretty comfy, though I haven’t walked extensively in them yet. Just normal stuff like some quick errands and walking around church, etc. The heel is supposedly 3″ but they totally do NOT feel that high thanks to the platform! Find them HERE.
This is the denim jacket that I said is the comfiest denim jacket I’ve worn. Quite expensive, but for absolutely good reason. It’s so, so soft and lightweight. And you know what? It’s getting even better the more I wear it! Didn’t think that was possible! It’s sold out in size M but available in all other regular sizes. I’m VERY hopeful it’ll be restocked because I’ve seen this exact one around for a couple years. See it HERE.

Wore this to church several weeks ago during one of our warmer days. Gotta wear this long sleeved floral dress as much as I can before the weather gets reallyyyyy warm! LOVE it with yellow flats (duh) but it’s also really cute with coral or blush pink!

Haven’t worn this yet, rather just took this pic when I announced that this skirt is BACKKKKKKK this year! In case you’ve missed all my effusive praise about it, it’s one of my very favorite pieces in my closet. I’ve had this skirt for YEARS, and I’m so dang glad when it comes back on J.Crew Factory’s site each year. It’s got an elastic waistband which is forgiving and comfortable, pockets, and is a fairly lightweight linen-cotton. Someone asked about wash and wear–I machine wash and air dry it. It does NOT turn into a wrinkled ball of mess as long as I lay it flat to air dry. Wrinkling during wear is very minimal, especially compared to most linen garments. It’s midi-length, so if you are petite, either pass on it or plan to have it altered. I LOVE this skirt! Find it HERE. I wear size S.
And, hellooooooo yellow wedges! You guys, I am SO ABOUT this season’s colors! There’s so much green and yellow in stores. Don’t even know what to do with myself! ?

Alright, took a break from yellow and went with red flats! But of course yellow would be fantastic in this outfit too. 😀 This striped tee is the same as the rust/white Target tee above. Also $8. Flattering scoop neckline. GREAT basic to have in your closet, and so dang affordable! Get both colors HERE.
I really like this lightweight skirt. It’s fully lined and polyester, so it has a bit of a dressier feel though can easily be dressed down. Unfortunately, no pockets. Like…WHAAATTT? Cmon! Waistband is not elastic either. Regardless, it’s still comfy and easy to wear since it floats away from the body. Great with a t-shirt or can be dressed up a little more with a blouse or fitted button up shirt and pumps. It’s been on sale for the last few weeks hovering around $30 give or take a few bucks. See if you can catch it on sale HERE. I wear size 6. I technically “fit” size 4 but 6 was much more comfortable around the waist.

Another one of my go-to looks for the weekend, anytime I’ll be around kids a lot, or for a casual weekday. This vest is super duper soft but unfortunately not available right now. However, I saw a very similar one that felt equally as soft (I think–99% sure) at Target. Check that out HERE.
I’ve gotta say, Target is kinda killing it these days! I was shopping there less and less over the eyars because I wasn’t loving how some things draped or how the items felt. But I love what they’ve done with Universal Threads and A New Day and have been enjoying several great, affordable finds. Woohoo! ??
