Crazy is Upon Us

Dress: Target (similar)  |  Sweater: Old Navy (similar: one, two)  |  Booties: Target (similar: one, two)
Busy week.  Scratch that–busy MONTH ahead.  You might have heard me talking here and there through out the year about the big work conference coming up right after Christmas.  You know, the one that’s been taking over my life.  I have one last rehearsal in Chicago next week, and back up to NorCal for Christmas, and then St. Louis for the conference!  It’s gonna get crazy up in here.  If I’m MIA more than usual or if I don’t write much over the next few weeks, please send some encouragement my way.  Your comments and emails always make me smile!

Hope you get through the craziness okay! Our push month is January, so I'm dreading coming back after the holidays. 🙂 If it's any consolation, you'll have a crazy month while looking darling as usual!

I'm not traveling any this month, but I know what you mean about it being busy! EVERY day it seems like something is going on. Whenever Curtis and I are somewhere doing something we don't want to do (Christmas shopping on a Saturday, grocery shopping during the busiest time of the week, stuck in traffic) I just look at him and sing, "It's the most wonderful time of the year'- super loud and off-key! I just try to not lose my mind during December! At least you don't look frazzled 🙂 Love the gray action in this outfit!

Oh boy, a big conference right after Christmas is just adding insult to injury. Hang in there with all the travel and preparation, and have fun too! In the meantime, I love your tights/boots combo with this dress. I used to be scared of short boots but am getting more and more on board when I see things like this!

Busy busy!! (I love your outfit though!) So I'm curious, what is the conference? My in-laws are in Cape Girardeau and have a chunk of land they use for their ministry and often travel to St. Louis for conferences. When we lived in Kansas City, the church we were a part of always held a huge conference two days after Christmas and since Josh worked for our church, for a few years, we couldn't travel anywhere on Christmas because of the preparation needed. Those were very busy days for sure! Hope this month is fun even if it is busy.

I love this outfit combo! Your outfit creations are always spot on, and probably make up half of my Pintrest "style" inspiration board. Keep up the inspiration and I hope your month goes smoothly!

Way back in 1997 I was the registrar for that big conference (before it moved to St. Louis). You get to work with some of my favorite people on the planet! Have a fabulous time!

When you buy your dresses from Target, do you shop in store or online? I shop at Target a lot and never see those cute dresses!
